Now this is gonna be a solid option if you need to carry any additional like camping gear or if you need to just haul anything that's gonna have a lot of spillage to it. Anything kind of like concrete or mulch, stuff that's going to kind of get messy that you don't want inside your vehicle. It's also gonna have a weight capacity of 500 pounds. So even with me standing in it like I sat in it earlier, it's only gonna go down slightly, so vehicle's gonna perform with it very nicely. more

Now, this is gonna be a great option if you have items that a little bit more bulky, a little bit more dirty, that you don't want inside of your vehicle. The CURT Carrier is gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds. So me being about 245 pounds, getting up in here is only gonna make it drop just slightly. more

Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition well be test fitting the 24 by 60 cargo carrier for two inch hitches from Surco, part number 52018. Now to being our test fit well slide our cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. Well then put the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the cargo carrier is 17 inches. From the closest point of the cargo carriers platform to the back of the vehicle is 4 inches. more
