Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Surco 24 x 60 cargo carrier, part number 52018. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin hole, slide our pin through our pinhole and secure with a clip. Now lets go over some clearance measurements to see how the cargo carrier and this vehicle fit together. Theres about 12 inches of ground clearance from the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about five inches. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicles exhaust tip is about 11 inches. more

Curt Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Curt 24-inch by 60-inch Folding Cargo Carrier, part number C18132. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up our hitch pin holes and then well secure the carrier with a standard 5/8-inch pin and clip. Next, well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance and 1 inch of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. Overall, weve added about 13 inches of length to the rear of the vehicle with the carrier folded up. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey, we'll be test fitting the Curt 20x48-inch Cargo Carrier, part number C18145. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our hitch pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down using a wrench. Next, we'll go over a handful of clearance measurements. We've got about 12 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier and 4 inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. Overall, we've added about 23-1/2 inches of length to the rear of the vehicle. more
