Adding a cargo carrier system to the back of your Equinox is gonna help solve the problem of having limited space, which I'm pretty sure as an Equinox owner you're aware of. This is gonna allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. So if you set up the EXO system with the GearLocker and the GearWarrior, you can have a covered storage system as well as a rack to get those things like coolers and firewood out on your journey. Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the REESE Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a 24-inch by 60-inch carrier and we're gonna take a look at how it fits here on our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. This is a steel cargo basket with a 500-pound evenly distributed weight capacity, which means that you can carry a lot of things with this basket, expands your cargo space on your Equinox. Ideal for if you want to carry cargo that might be a little dirty, sandy or messy and you don't want it messing up the interior of your vehicle or if you wanna make it easier to lift up into the basket versus having to lift it into your hatch. This is actually a pretty good fit with the Equinox because it does have a little bit of a rise, and since you don't have much ground clearance with this vehicle, this is gonna help you out. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be taking a look at the Curt 24 x 60 Cargo Carrier, part number C18152. This cargo carrier is going to be great whether we just need to free up some space in our vehicle for a few more passengers and pets, or if we just went camping and have some dirty, wet gear that we don't want to put inside. Our cargo carrier does feature some reflectors on the back, that way other drivers will know that we have a carrier, and we have gear behind us.Now the walls inside of our cargo carrier are going to come in just at under 6", and as you can see we're going to have plenty of points for tie downs, that way we can secure our gear. Now the floor is made of a steel mesh, so it's going to be that easy to clean, and also very durable. Now there's a few measurements I'd like to give you. Overall from the outside edge of our bumper, it's going to come out to be about 31-1/2" that we're going to be adding to the total length of our vehicle. more

Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox well be test fitting the 24 by 60 cargo carrier for two inch hitches from Surco, part number 52018. Now to begin our test fit well slide our cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. Well then put the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you some measurements. From the closest point of our cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is two inches. The cargo carrier will add an additional 27 inches for overall length to the vehicle. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox well be test fitting the Curt 20 by 48 cargo carrier for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number C18145. Now to begin our test fit weve already installed the included adapter for the two inch hitch. Well slide our cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight our cargo carrier is secure to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is two and a quarter inches. more
