To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole and allow the attached pin to fall into place. We'll then use the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 16 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the bike rack to the rear of our Highlander is about 9 inches. more

We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the pin hole and thread in our anti rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench and then we can install our lock. Now we'll go over a very clearance measurements. We have about 12 inches of ground clearance, the closest one to the bike rack to the rear of our Highlander is about eight inches and we've added about 39 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll undo the cradle straps, six was our cradles, grab our bike, place it onto the frame cradles and secure it by tightening each strap. One of the great features of the Paralellogram is it's ability to tilt away from the vehicle while keeping the bike parallel to the ground. more

With the mast back in its upright position, and the pin in clip reinstalled at the base, we can go ahead and pull the safety pin at the top of the mast to swing out our dual arms. more
