Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Toyota Camry- Video

So the rack that we have here today can carry up to a total of two bikes. However, if you do need to carry an extra one, there's also a three bike version available as well. So whats really nice about this setup, if you do need to get inside of your trunk whenever you are carrying your bikes it's really not a big deal, we're going to have enough clearance to be able to do that.One of the things that really separates this wreck from many of the others is that it's made from aluminum. Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Toyota Camry, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Backroad, hitch-mounted bike rack. Now the rack that we have here today can carry up to a total of two bikes, but if you need to carry more, there's a four bike version available as well. Now, something that's really cool about this setup is if we need to get inside of our trunk, even when we're carrying our bikes on the rack, we're still able to do so. And that's usually not the case for a lot of different racks. And even though we can access the trunk, but the rack here in the upright position, it could be a little challenging with this and the way to get heavy or real big objects in and out of the back of our Camry.But what we can do to make it easier is fold the rack down. more

And what's really nice about this setup too, is you're still going to have full access to your trunk. Even in this position, it's going to give us more than enough room to get whatever we may need and an out off the back. However, if you do have something really heavy or really large, this does fold down out of the way and gives us even more space. We moved down here and again, just pull this pin out and we're able to move it down. And then we have a ton of room to get those heavy or large objects in and out with ease. more

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we're here to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack. Now, this rack does hold up to a total of two bikes, however, if you're looking to carry more, there's also a three bike version available as well. Now, one of the best parts about this rack is that it's made from aluminum. So not only is it going to be extremely lightweight and easy to handle, but we're not going to have to worry about any rust or corrosion issues either. A really common question we get in regards to these hitch mounted bike racks, is if you're still going to be able to have full access to your trunk or this one on the back of the Camry, even in the upright position, we're still going to have no problem opening up our trunk and getting all of our stuff in and out.Now, if he has something really large or awkward that you're trying to put in or take out, you can still free up some space because this does fold down, and if you come down here and pull up on this lever, and swing it out of the way, and now we shouldn't have any issues at all getting all of our stuff in and out. more

Rola Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Toyota Camry- Video

Ryan: How's it going, everybody Ryan here etrailer.com. Today on our 2018 Toyota Camry we're going to be taking a look at the Rola TX102 bike rack. Now this can hold a total of up to two bikes, and the bikes that it is holding, it's going to hold them down in three spots. We're going to have two straps here along our top two. We're also going to have a strap down here, which is an anti sway strap, and that'll help eliminate side to side movement preventing any bike to bike or bike direct contact. Now one feature I thought was pretty neat is that it's going to have an integrated lock, so when our bikes are in place this will simply pull out, we'll loop it around the frame and clip it onto the arm. more

And that's really convenient, because if you do fold your rack down, you're going to have to make sure to take your bikes off. That's why when we load our bikes up, we still have no problem getting our gear in and out.It's going to be extremely easy to handle, and since it's compact, if we need to ever pull it out of the hitch to make room for a cargo carrier or something else, we're going to have no problem fitting it into the back of our trunk.The rack is going to hold our bike down in three spots. more

Rola TX-103 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Toyota Camry- Video

Today, on our 2011 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Rola TX 103, 3 Bike Carrier, part number 59403. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 13 and 1/2" of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack.Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 8" away. With the cradle arms foldeddown, we've added about 11" to the overall length of our vehicle. We can now pull the orange tab at the top of the bike rack to swing out our cradle arms. more

Yakima DoubleDown Ace Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Toyota Camry- Video

Today on our 2007 Toyota Camry well be test fitting part number Y02451. This is the Yakima DoubleDown 4 Bike Carrier. Now to begin our test fit, well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch after removing the 2-inch adaptor. Well then install the attached hitch pin where we can then move to the back of the shank and tighten the knob securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now pull the handle here at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our deck lid. more

Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Toyota Camry- Video

Today on this 2007 Toyota Camry were going to do a quick test of part number TH990XT from Thule. This is Thules Doubletrack Platform Bike Rack. We will line up the pin hitch holes and install the anti-rattle bolt. Now Thule does provide a tool to tighten down the bolt, however a inch wrench works just as well. On the other side of the bolt we will add our lock, and were secure to the hitch. Alright now we will give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between a bicycle rack and a vehicle, and the bicycle rack and the ground. more
