Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Subaru Ascent- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Subaru Ascent, we're gonna be checking out the Curt premium hitch-mounted bike rack. So right off the bat, the rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of four bikes, but if you need to carry an additional one there's a five bike version available as well. One of the big questions that we get asked all the time in regards to these hitch-mounted bike racks is if you can still get to the inside of your Subaru whenever you have the rack on it. And the answer is yes, this one does fold down out of the way. So there'll be a few things we need to do here. more

So we're gonna have plenty of great integrated built-in features which really set this rack apart from its competitors. A few of these things which we'll go over a little bit more in detail later. Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over, the Thule hitching post pro four bike rack, here on your 2021, Subaru Ascent. So the hitching post is definitely an excellent four bike rack option for you and the family. Now, one of the main things I really like about this bike rack, is that it gives you a great value for the cost. So Thule is definitely a higher end brand. There's definitely some below it and there's even a couple above it, but for the most part Thule is pretty much the standard for hitch bike racks. This particular model here, it's not a top of the line option but it's definitely not one of the bottom ones either. more

Hey everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 2 bike platform rack on our 2020 Subaru Ascent.Now, here we've got our NV. It's in a gunmetal gray, but it is available in three different colors. So we'll have the gray and orange like we have here, there's a matte black version, and also a metallic black version. So you really just want to pick whichever one matches your Subaru or your bike the best. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan, here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Subaru Ascent, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4-Bike Rack. One of the big questions we get in regards to hitch-mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full hatch access. Well, this one does fold down and allows us to do that. Come down here to this pin, go ahead and pop that off, pull the pin out, the center will fold down and that'll give us more than enough room to get anything you may need in and out of the back of our Subaru.So our bike is going to be secured in three different spots. We're going to have two straps here along the top tube, and a strap down here, and this is actually going to act as an anti-sway strap to help prevent that side to side movement. more
