How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Swagman Okanagan 125 bike carrier on our 2021 Nissan Murano. The Okanagan is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, so that means that your bike is secured using a front hook and a rear strap without making any frame contact. So if you have a carbon fiber bike, a step through bike, or just a nice paint job where you didn't want any contact, this is gonna be one of the better options available for you. A cool feature is the fact that you do have a awesome foot pedal release tilt feature that's gonna allow you to tilt your carrier down while you're loaded and access your cargo area. So it is a really good tilt and it gives you plenty of space to get to the back of your Murano. How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule T2 XTR Bike Carrier on our 2021 Nissan Murano. The T2 XTR is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, so what that's gonna do for you, it's gonna secure your bike to the back of your vehicle by making contact with your front and rear wheel. It doesn't have any contact with your top tube. So if you have a unconventional frame or a carbon fiber frame bike, this is gonna be a great option to secure your bike without making any contact. On the back of our vehicle, it doesn't take up very much space and it gives you a lot of flexibility. Using the handle here, (mechanism clicking) we're able to tilt our carrier and access our cargo area pretty easily. more

Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video

How you doing This is Ed here at etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Carrier on the 2021 Nissan Murano. Now the Destination is a solid bike carrier for your E-bikes, that weigh up to 70 pounds each. As far as your contacts, you have on the rear wheel, a single strap, the front wheel, you have two straps, and a center mast clamp that makes contact with the frame. If you have a carbon fiber bike or something with a special paint job, you definitely don't wanna go with something that's gonna make this kind of contact, however, we do offer cradle mount options. So as far as clearance on the rear of the vehicle in the upright position, the bike carrier will affect your backup sensors as well as your backup camera and license plate. It looks like the tires also will be obscured, you know, well, no, it looks pretty good as far as clearing the back of your tail lights, but depending on your bike, you may still have interference as far as seeing from your handlebar, so that will vary from your style bike. more

Now, this guy is constructed of powder coated field, and also has a padded hook. On the bottom you're gonna have adjustable wheel loops, so it's gonna accommodate different wheel bases. Now, with this guy being rated at 35 pounds per bike, it wouldn't be the best option if you have a heavier bike like an e-bike. But if you have a road bike or mountain bike, that would be great for it. Also to consider is, if you have a carbon fiber bike or something with a nice paint job, the way that the bike is secured is making contact with the frame. more

Alright, and the E-spec is constructed of black powder coated steel can support your e-bike up to 60 pounds per bike, right And your bike is actually gonna attach to the E-spec at three points of contact. You have a padded hook at the top of your frame as well as two padded cradle and straps for your front and rear tire. Because this is gonna make contact with the frame of your bike. I wouldn't recommend this to you if you have a carbon bike or anything with a fancier paint job where you didn't want any contact to the frame. Alright, and this guy's super easy to take off. more

How's it going Ryan here etrailer.com. Today on our 2017 Nissan Murano, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro two-bike rack, which is also available in a three-bike version. Now, one thing I noticed about this rack is where it's going to sit. It's gonna keep our bike nice and high off the ground, yet it's not gonna sit up so high that it's going to block or obstruct our view out of our rear view mirror as we're going down the road. It's gonna be held in place by three straps. We're gonna have two straps here on the top tube and one right here, and that's going to help prevent any sway, and side to side movement, eliminating any bike to bike contact. more

The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 9 inches, and with the cradle arms folded down weve added about 19 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. Well now pull the gray lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out, and with the cradle arms out weve added about 30 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

We have a ground clearance of about 13-1/2 inches. From the closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 4-1/2 inches. With the bike carrier in its folded position, weve added about 11-1/2 inches to the overall length of our vehicle.Now, well go ahead and pull the pin at the base of the carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. This allows us to gain easy access to the rear hatch of our vehicle, so that we can access our cargo area when we need to.Now, well put the carrier back in its upright position, replace the pin and then well move to the top of the mast, where well pull the pin to swing out our dual arms. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well go ahead and line up the pinhole and then install our pin and clip.
