Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec Hitch Bike Rack and how it fits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. E-Spec is a two bike platform-style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 70 pounds, and it's rated for use with your motor home, travel trailer, flat tow, and fifth wheel vehicles. So it's got a lot of different uses. It's gonna hold onto our bike primarily with these frame hooks here, as well as two straps, one on the front and one on the back wheel. So we do make frame contact and we would recommend against using carbon frame bikes. more

Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2022 Nissan Frontier- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp hitch bike rack and how it fits on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. The OnRamp is gonna be a two bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting two bikes up to 66 pounds if you use it on road but it's also rated for your travel trailer, fifth wheel, motor homes and flat towed vehicles. So it does have an off-road rating but that's gonna drop it down to about 40 pounds. So if you wanna use it for that purpose, keep that in mind. It's a really solid bike rack though with a lot of nice features. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rocky Mounts Guide Rail Hitch Bike Rack and now it outfits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. The Guide Rail is going to be a two bike platform style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece gonna hold onto them with this dual wheel mount design. So one of these hoops on either tire the front and the back so there's no frame contact at all. If you want to get your carbon frame bikes on here, you can. Alternative frame bikes will work as well up to e-bikes because of that weight capacity and there's no frame contact at all so none of those are gonna get damaged while you're moving. more

Piston Pro is gonna be a premium bike rack with a lot of premium features that we'll get into in this video starting with the fact that it is a platform style rack so it's gonna hold our bikes up from the bottom here. Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Nissan Frontier- Video
Hey Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack's Destination Two Bike Hitch Rack and how it fits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. It's gonna be a platform style bike rack capable of supporting your bikes up to 35 pounds a piece. It's gonna hold onto them primarily with these frame clamps here, as well as the strap on the back and the front tire. So it does make frame contact. If you wanna use this with your carbon frame bikes we'd recommend against it 'cause it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Skaha 2 Plus hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. This is going to be the two bike with the two bike add-on so a four bike platform rack total with the ability to hold onto two 60 pound bikes in the back and two 30 pound bikes in the front. So definitely make sure that you're using those weight ratings accordingly. We can hold our e-bikes, heavier bikes with larger wheel bases in the back. Again, we're gonna lose a little bit of that weight capacity up front. more

Hi everyone, it's Eva Angeline here at etrailer and today we have a Hollywood Racks Destination four bike platform rack. We're gonna take a look at how this fits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. The destination four is a popular bike rack because it keeps it affordable, compact, and stable. So if you wanna carry around multiple bikes but you want the stability of a platform rack this is a great way to do it. There are some downsides to it too, though. Like the types of bikes this can carry it has a pretty average wake pass not ebike rated and it cannot tilt the weight. more

The Destination is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting two bikes, in this case up to 70 pounds. It's gonna hold onto our bike primarily by the frame here with these rotated padded clamps as well as one strap down here on the back tire and two on the front. So it's got a really secure hold but it does make frame contact. So if you did wanna mix and match and use this with your carbon frame bikes, we'd recommend against it, or if you just have a nice paint job, 'cause either way it could damage the frame while you're driving. more

That's gonna be a platform-style bike rack, which means it's gonna hold the bike by the tire, so it's not gonna make any frame contact. It really opens it up to use with a bunch of different style bikes. And we have a regular road bike that's aluminum, but we can even use a carbon fiber one on here, 'cause it just touches the tire, it doesn't touch the frame. Let's check it out. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier well be test fitting the Yakima Doubledown Ace Four Bike Rack, part number Y02451. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole and installed the attached pin. Here at the rear of the shank well tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device.Now well go over some clearance measurements. We have about 14-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the bike rack to the rear of our vehicle is about six inches. Weve added about 13 inches to the overall length of our Nissan Frontier. Well pull the pin with the red knob on the backside of our carrier and allow it to tilt away from the vehicle. more

Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Nissan Frontier- Video
Speaker: Today, on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, well be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero two-bike carrier, part number TH9042. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch allowing the integrated hitch bin to fall into place, and then securing the bike rack to the vehicle by turning the black knob. This will engage the anti-rattle device, securing the Thule Helium to our Frontier. Well now go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 20 & inches of ground clearance. Weve added about 19 inches to the overall length of our Frontier. We can now pull the gray lever that at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out, weve added about 29 inches to the overall length of our Frontier. To lower it on the tailgate and have access to the truck bed, we can pull the gray lever at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, we will be test fitting the Rhino Rack, four bike rack for two inch hitches, part number RBC038.We will begin our test fit by slotting the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch while threading the anti rental 00:00:16 device and lock and tighten it down with a wrench. We can then secure with the lock to secure the bike rack to the vehicle.Now with the bike rack secured, we will go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 20 and inches of ground clearance. Closes part of the bike rack to the closes part of the vehicle is about 3 inches away. With the cradle arms folded down, we have added about 11 inches to the overall length of our vehicle.We can now pull a black pin at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out, we have added about 28 inches to the overall length of our Frontier. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, well be test-fitting the Kuat Sherpa Platform Style Aluminum 2-Bike Rack, part number S102. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. Well insert our pin and secure the lock on the other side. To secure the bike rack to our Frontier, we can turn the black T-handle to engage the anti-rattle device.Now that the bike racks secured, well go over a few clearance measurements to see how the 2 fit together. We have about 18 inches of ground clearance of the rear of the bike rack. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of our vehicle is about 3 inches away, and weve added about 14 inches to the overall length of our truck. To lower the platform, we can pull the gold handle on the right-hand side of the base of the bike rack, and fold it down. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow and Go Three Bike Rack for Two Inch Ball Mounts, part number hr135. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of our ball mount into the opening of our hitch and securing it with a pin and clip. You can also prevent rattle by using an anti-rattle device or securing to your vehicle by using a hitch lock. See our website for more details. Now for today's test fit we'll be using Hidden Hitch's Super Extra Long Shank Ball Mount rated at 6,000 pounds, part number 80232. You can use any ball mount with an extra-long shank as long as the ball mount platform exceeds more than three inches outside of your bumper. more
