Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Saris MHS 2-Bike Platform Rack on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So Saris MHS is a solid dual mounted bike rack. If you like this design, where you can just mount it to the tires and there's zero frame contact but you want a little bit of extra stability, that's where the MHS comes in handy. So we'll talk about all those different features but we're gonna focus on our Jeep here today. Main thing is that it is a fit, even with our spare tire. more

This is a very unique pairing because this bike rack swings away so that you have full access for your Jeep, even with the spare tire on. So this bike rack is similar to the RockyMounts Guide Rail. Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at how the Hollywood Rack's Destination 4-bike platform rack fits on the 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is a 4-bike platform rack, which allows you to carry around more bikes without weighing too much or spending too much. There are some downsides to it too which we'll talk about in this video. But main thing with the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is you have a spare tire. So most bike racks will need the expansion hitch adapter or the hitch extender, which is what we currently have installed. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp HD two bike platform rack, right here on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So the SuperClamp HD is an upgrade from the SuperClamp EX. You have very similar features where you have the front and the rear wheel mounts or clamps but you also have a really good weight capacity of 60 pounds. This can tilt away, we're gonna talk about those features but we're gonna focus here on our Jeep Wrangler, the Unlimited, that way we can see how it works with the Jeep and what makes for the better fit for you, your bikes and your vehicle. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hi everyone, John here, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-bike rack on our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is going to be a great bike rack if you've got road bikes and mountain bikes that you want to get to the trail and have with a friend, I do recommend though keeping in mind that it has a 40-pound weight capacity, so it will be able to handle road bikes, mountain bikes that fit that, but your heavier fat-tire bikes and electric bikes will not be able to be used. Along with having a 47-inch wheel base, so that gives you a good amount of space. Let's take a closer look and see some of the features that this gives you whenever you're trying to get your bikes to the trail. Now, the first feature I want to show you with the Sherpa is the tilt away. This has one of the best tilt-away systems, in my opinion especially for a one bike. more

Saris MHS Modular 2 Bike Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Saris MHS Modular Bike Rack on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is your platform-style rack that is gonna be held on by both tires, so it's gonna be great for a lot of different size, shapes, and style frames, especially, those carbon fiber frames where a frame mount might warp or damage it. A couple quick things about this rack with this vehicle, we're not gonna be able to utilize the tilt down feature to access our hatch, even if we took the bike off, the spare wheel is still gonna run into that, and we're not gonna be able to fold this up either, because of the spare tire there. But if you wanna continue learning about this bike rack, we are gonna get into that as well as a recommendation towards the end of the video. So this is gonna be made out of steel and aluminum, it's gonna be lighter weight and durable. It's finished with a black powder coat, making it rust resistant. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Thule Hitching Post Pro for bike racks here on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So the Thule Hitching Post Pro is gonna be an excellent bike rack option for you and the family because it allows you to carry up to four bikes. Now there's really two main styles of bike racks on the market and that's platform and hanging. So this is a hanging style rack and what hanging style racks do really well is number one, they're very cost effective, certainly when you compare them to the platform counterpart. And number two, they're much lighter weight than those platform style racks. So they're a lot easier to get on and off the vehicle. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro hitch-mounted bike rack. So first impressions of the rack on the back of the Jeep is, I think it looks really good, you know, but honestly, what doesn't, you know, these Jeeps accept accessories very well. And one of the first things I noticed, which is really important with these Jeeps is to make sure that your rack is going to clear the spare tire. Now, keep in mind, you know, things can change a little bit depending on your hitch and the size of your tire and everything else, but you know, those measurements aren't gonna change dramatically per se. So we still have quite a bit of space in between here. more

And with the Jeep being relatively small on the inside, if you want to put a couple of bikes back there, it's really gonna limit that space inside for other belongings or your friends and family. more

Today on our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro Hitch Mounted Bike Rack.So the rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of two bikes, but if you need to carry an extra one, there's a three bike version available as well. With that being said, my first impression, I think it looks pretty good on the back of the Jeep, actually. It's going to be a great compact way to carry around two or three bikes.Now, the way this is going to work is really simple. Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today, on our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack.Now we have a bike installed, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now to start, we're gonna have three different points where our bike is secured. We have a hook-and-loop strap on the back wheel right here, and we're also going to have the same thing on the front wheel. Both of those are going to be securing the bike tires onto the wheel trays, and we're also going to have this padded frame hook putting downward force on top of our bike, forcing it down into the cradles. This rubber padding is going to help protect the bike frame from any type of scratches or abrasions.Now one thing that's cool about unloading your bikes, and especially because of how it sits on our Jeep, is that because the bike when installed sits pretty close to the spare tire. It makes it pretty hard to kind of just, you know, jimmy it in there and try to figure out a way to maneuver it around the mast right here, where our hooks are, and the spare tire. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today were working with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and were going to be test fitting the Thule hitching post pro hitch mounted bike carrier, part number TH934XTR. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes then thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. Next well go over a couple of clearance measurements. Weve got about 22 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground, however keep in mind that our Jeep today does have aftermarket suspension and tires. Weve got about a of an inch of clearance between our aftermarket spare tire and the bike rack and overall weve added about nine inches of length. more
