Test Fitting the Swagman E-Spec 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack - 2024 Hyundai Tucson- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Swagman E-SPEC Bike Carrier on our 2024 Hyundai Tucson. The E-SPEC is a frame-mounted bike carrier, so your padded hook is gonna make contact with your top tube. If you have a carbon fiber bike or a bike with a nice paint job where you didn't want to have contact or even a unconventional bike like a step through, this may not be the best option for you right out the gate. You're also secured using cradles on the front and rear that strap into place to stabilize your bike to the back of the vehicle. The E-SPEC has locking handles as far as your hooks that mount to your bike, so that's another cool thing that's gonna keep everything nice and secure. Let's take our bike off of the carrier and we can take a closer look at some of the features. more

The Okanagan is a wheel mounted bike carrier that's going to allow you to transport your bike without making any contact to your top tube. So if you have a carbon fiber bike or an unconventional frame, you'll be able to make use of the bike carrier without making contact to your actual frame. And with our XL frame bike, you can see even shaking the carrier, you're not in any risk of making contact with the back of your vehicle. So let's take a look at our tilt. Swagman 2 Bike XTC2 TILT Bike Rack Review - 2024 Hyundai Tucson- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the XTC2 TILT from Swagman on our 2024 Hyundai Tucson. Our carrier is a frame-mounted bike carrier, so it's actually contacts right here on the top tube and on your front and rear wheel. So if you have a bike that's a little bit nicer or unconventional frame, you may have issues as far as using this carrier and getting the most out of securing your bike. An observation I made while taking a look at the XTC2 is the fact that it is kind of a small carrier. This is actually a small frame bike here. We tried to load a XL frame mountain bike and it just simply too large to fit on the inside and the small is still gonna make contact with the back of your tailgate and your handlebars can come close to your window. more

Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Hyundai Tucson- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today on our 2019 Hyundai Tucson, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber hitch mounted bike rack. So the rack that we have here today holds up to a total of four bikes, but if you don't need to carry that many, there's also a two bike version available as well. So the rack is going to hold our bike down in three spots and it's going to keep it really secure. We're not going to have a whole lot of movement at all. We're going to have two straps here along the top tube, and the strap down here acts as a anti-sway strap. That's going to really help prevent that side to side movement. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Tucson- Video

Rob: How's it going everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch four bike hanging style rack on our 2020 Hyundai Tucson. Hitching Post Pro is going to allow us to take up to four bikes with us to and from the trail. Now we're going to have three points of contact to hold the bike nice and secure, and have two on the cross tube on the top. And we're also going to have one on the vertical support that's going to be an anti-sway, it's going to help prevent any kind of bike to bike contact from the bike moving too much. We'll go and pull the bike off so we can take a closer look and go over some of the features. The straps are going to hold on, it's just rubber. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Hyundai Tucson- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Hyundai Tucson we're going to be test-fitting Swagman's G10 two bike platform rack. Part number S64682. This two bike platform rack is going to allow you to carry two bikes on the back of your vehicle. The top frame contact lever holds your bike on using a hook with a ratcheting mechanism.This simply pulls up, presses down and you can release it with the button here. On each wheel you're going to have a ratcheting strap. This releases with the lever here and you simply line up the pad and pull it down till it holds your bike secure in the cradle.Included in your kit you're going to get a locking cable that will work with the locking clip and hitch-pin down there. more
