Today on our 2011 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Yakima Holdup two hitch mounted bike carrier, part number Y02433. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up our hitch pin hole, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. Then well secure a lock over the other end of the bolt. Now well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 10 inches of ground clearance and about inch of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. more

To mount the carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down using a wrench. Next well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 10 inches of ground clearance and about inch of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the bumper. Overall weve added about 7 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle with the carriers arms folded down. more

Weve got about 10 inches of ground clearance, and about 5 inches between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. Overall, weve added about 17 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle with the carrier arms folded down. more

Well line up our hitch pin holes and then thread in our anti-rattle bolt and well tighten it down using a wrench. Next we want to go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 10-1/2 inches of ground clearance and about 4-1/2 inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of our bumper. Overall, weve added about 21 inches of length to the rear of the vehicle. more

Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch and line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 8-3/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the back of the vehicle is 4-3/4 inches. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow us the mast to tilt down. more

Today on our 2011 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Pro Series Q Slot Platform Style 2 Bike Carrier for both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches part number PS63134. Now to begin our test fit, well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch using the included adaptor. We can then line up our hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. With our hitch pin in, well go ahead and install the safety clip on the other side securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the back of the bike rack is 13 inches. more

Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10-1/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 1-1/2 inches. Well now go ahead and pull the hitch switch at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our cargo door. more

Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2011 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Carrier part number TH9027. Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch and using the integrated locking hitch pin well allow it to fall into the hitch pin hole of the hitch where we can then move to the anti-rattle knob and tighten it down securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 12 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the back of the vehicle is 3-1/4 inches. Now our anti-rattle knob is 1/2 inch from the bumper. Well now go ahead and pull the hitch switch at the top of the bike rack mast to bring out the dual arms where we can undo the straps to expose our cradles. more

Today on our 2011 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Bike Carrier part number TH9025. Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch pulling the integrated locking hitch pin to allow the shank to slide in. We can then let go of the integrated locking hitch pin and allow it to lock in to the hitch pin hole on our hitch. Well then move to the anti-rattle knob where well tighten it down securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 13 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the back of the vehicle is 3-1/4 inches. more
