Now this is gonna be a solid choice if you just need to carry a lot of different types of bikes or you need to carry your heavy e-bikes. What's gonna make this bike rack so versatile is its ability to accommodate those different bikes. So we're gonna have two tie down points and that first tie down point's gonna be the strap in the back. And then our second one is gonna be this hook in the front that uses this ratcheting system. more

Now, right off the bat, this rack is pretty nice. I really like the way it looks, really like all the blue accents. I think it really adds to the overall appearance of our bike rack. This bike rack is going to be really good for your carbon frame bikes and that's due to the fact that both points of contact are going to be on our wheels. more

This is also gonna be available in black and pearl, so it really comes down to personal preference and whatever matches your vehicle. This is going to be in the 2-inch hitch receiver, which is good, because more likely than not, your Expedition is going to have a 2-inch hitch. This rack is going to work with two inch hitch receivers which is really good because that's a very common size. The more likely than not, your expedition is going to have it. Right off the bat, this is a great economical way for you to get yourself, your friends or your family out to the trail. Being able to take four bikes with you is pretty awesome. Now this is going to work with a few different sized bikes. You do want to keep in mind that is frame mounted, so it's not going to be great for your carbon frame bikes but anything that has a metal frame this is gonna work great for. more

SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition, well be test fitting part number a30901, the Sport Rack two bike hitch mounted bike rack with mount cradles for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Now to begin our test fit well slide our bike rack shank with the included adapter into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 23-1/8 inches and from the closet point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10-1/2 inches. Now well go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our cargo door and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Were now almost ready to load our bike, all we need to do is make sure that our wheel loop straps are undone and out of the way and that our vertical bar clamp is fully extended. more

Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition well be test fitting part number PS63134. This is the Pro Series Q-slot platform style two bike carrier for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Now to begin our test fit well slide the shank with the included adapter into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. Well then put the safety clip on the other side of our hitch pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 22 1/8th inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10 inches. more
