Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Bike Rack Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse

How's it goin' today This is Ed with etrailer.com, and we're takin' a look at the Sport Rider SE on the back of the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. So, the Sport Rider is actually a really solid e-bike carrier. It has a weight capacity of up to 80 pounds per bike. One thing I think is a con is the fact that, you know, you would have to lift up your bike to get it up to this higher platform on your Traverse. As far as the contact, you have three points of contact on the bike from the carrier, two straps on your wheel cradles, as well as your padded hook. If you have a carbon fiber bike or something that has a nice paint job or, you know, a step through bike or anything like that, you may wanna look towards a wheel-mounted option. more

Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2017 Chevrolet Traverse

Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Yakima OnRamp Two Bike Platform Rack. We're gonna take a look at how this fits our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse. The main thing about this bike rack is, it was redesigned for electric bikes. It has a 66-pound per bike weight capacity plus it has a ramp included on the rack. So other bike racks usually have ramps that need to be stored inside your car. This one is stored on the rack itself so that way you know you're less likely to lose it. more

etrailer Tilting 4 Bike Rack Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2016 Chevy Traverse we're gonna be checking out the etrailer.com hitch mounted bike rack. First impressions of the rack on the back of the traverse, I like it, you know, it's simple, not much to it, and it's a pretty good design actually. You know, I think, etrailer actually put a little bit of thought into this one, keeping it simple, keeping it more entry level and economical and still being able to do a lot of different things. You know, it's well made for what it is and it can hold a lot of bikes. So this one can hold up to a total of four, which I think is perfect for the Traverse. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2022 Chevrolet Traverse

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out, the Thule Hitching Post Pro, on our 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. It's gonna be a very popular bike rack, for the hanging style, which means it's gonna hold the bike by the frame itself, so that does eliminate some bikes, that's gonna thrown up there, I wouldn't throw a carbon fiber up here, it could damage that, but for saving space on the rack itself, and making it easier to use, the hanging styles being great for four bikes. Now, they do get a little close if you have it fully loaded, and there might be some swinging back and forth, so just be careful of that, but they do have precautions built in. Let's take a closer look here. So, there's gonna be a strap, on the down tube here on the frame, that's gonna help keep that movement side to side, to a minimum when you're going on the road. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro 2 bike rack. One of my favorite things about this bike rack is that it's made from aluminum, so it's going to be incredibly lightweight. We're also not going to have to worry about any rust or corrosion issues, either. It's going to hold our bike down in three spots. Two straps on our top tube, and this strap down here is actually going to be an anti-sway strap, and that'll help prevent any bike-to-bike or bike-to-vehicle contact. Now this rack does hold two bikes. more
