Today on our 2010 Chevy Equinox well be test fitting the Yakima Stick-Up 2 Bike Carrier part number Y02420. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch tube, align our threaded pin hole, well thread our anti-rattle bolt through the threaded pin hole and tighten with a wrench. Now, lets go over some clearance measurements to see how the carrier and this vehicle fit together. There is about 12-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about 2-1/2 inches. Weve added about 12 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

With our vehicle equipped with the 2-inch hitch and our bike rack already preassembled we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by inserting the bike rack shank into the hitch. We'll line up our hitch pin hole. We'll then insert our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt installed we can go ahead and tighten it down using our 3/4-inch wrench. more
