Kuat NV 2.0 2 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Buick Enclave- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here and we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2024 Buick Enclave. All right, so the NV is actually a really good carrier for a person that's looking for a wheel mounted carrier. So a little bit of explanation on wheel mounted is that's how your bike in secured, is by making contact with only the wheel and nowhere on the frame. So if you have a carbon fiber frame, a nice paint job or unconventional frame, like a step through bike, wheel mount is generally gonna be a great option to secure your bike without making contact. So the Kuat has really easy controls, it's very premium carrier, and you can tell that from interacting with it. It makes it really easy to move things around. more

Yakima OnRamp 2 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Buick Enclave- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2024 Buick Enclave. Well, the Yakima OnRamp is a great bike carrier for someone that has the Enclave because the hitch sits up so much higher. Having that included ramp makes a world of difference as far as loading your bikes. Once your bike is loaded, you'll notice that this is actually a frame mount bike carrier. So you're gonna have three points of contact. You're gonna have two straps on each one of your wheels and the center mast cradle that makes contact with your frame. more

First impressions of the rack on the back of the Buick, I think it looks really good. Kuat makes very high quality stuff, very well built. Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Buick Enclave- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium Hitch Mounted Bike Rack on our 2020 Buick Enclave. One of the big questions that we get asked all the time in regards to these such amount of bike racks, is if you're still going to be able to have full access to the back of your SUV. And this one does fold down out of the way and allows us to do that and the way that we're going to do it, we move down here, we're going to need to loosen up this Thandle, you give that a few turns. Then we're going to have a 10 in clip that we need to pull up, let me just lift up on this THandle. That'll allow the rack to swing down and that'll give us more than enough space to open up our hatch and get whatever we might need in and out of the back of our Buick. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Buick Enclave- Video

Now, one of the questions we do get asked all the time in regards to hitch-mounted bike racks is if you're still gonna be able to get into the back of your SUV, whenever you have the rack in place. And this one does allow us to do that. And that's because it folds down. So if we come down here and I have a pin and clip pull it out, and this thing drops down quite a bit a little bit further than a lot of the other type of racks. more

Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2013 Buick Enclave, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex FourBike Rack, 4-inch and a quarter and 2 inch hitches, part number th9025. We'll begin our test fit by slotting the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the pin hole and allow the attached end to fall into place. We'll then tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 17 inches of ground clearance. The closest from the bike rack to the rear of the vehicle is about 3/4 of an inch. more

Today on our 2013 Buick Enclave, well be test fitting the Thule Apex, Swing four-bike rack for two-inch hitches, part number TH9027. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. Allow the attached pin to fall into place, and secure it by tightening the hand knob, which will engage out anti-rattle device. Now, well over a few clearance measurements. We have about 16 and a quarter inches of ground clearance. The closest for another bike rack to the rear of our enclave is about half-an-inch, and weve added about 13 inches to the overall length of our vehicle.Well pull the lever at the top of the mast to swing out our dual arms. more

Well line up the pin hole, and thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench.Now, well go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 15 and three quarter inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the bike rack to the rear of our vehicle is about six inches. Weve added about 16 inches to the overall length of our enclave. more

Now with our Thule Apex secured to our Enclave, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 17-1/2" of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of our Enclave is at the rear bumper, about 1" away, and we've added about 11" of overall length to our Enclave with the Thule Apex secured. We can now pull the gray lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out, and with the cradle arms out we've added about 35" to the overall length of our Enclave. more
