Hey there, adventurous RDX owners. Today on your 2009 Acura RDX we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium two bike rack. It's also available in a three bike version if that suits you better. The Thule Helium is designed to hold your bike by its top tube. It has two cradles on top and one over here, the anti-sway cradle that's going to prevent bike to bike and bike to vehicle contact. Now being that it does hold your bike by the top tube, I don't recommend it for carbon fiber frame bikes, but really any other bike you've got out there. more

This is a four bike hanging style rack, and it's going to be ideal for non-carbon fiber bikes especially if you're wanting to haul many bikes in a small package. Swagman XTC-2 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2009 Acura RDX- Video

Hi there, Acura owners. Today on your 2009 Acura RDX, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Swagman's XTC2 Two-Bike Platform Rack. This two-bike platform rack is going to be a great option to securely haul two bikes around with you, using either a two inch or one and a quarter inch hitch.There is a sleeve that comes available with it to get it mounted up in those two inch hitches. You can see here, we've got a bike mounted up on it, and it holds it at three different locations. Each wheel is held in place inside of its cradle, with a strap that goes across it to ensure that it stays inside the cradle.Our frame has a lock down here on top where our hooked arm can slide down to secure it in place. Simply just push down on it until it holds it nice and secure. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Acura RDX- Video

Today on our 2013 Acura RDX, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro Tilting 4-bike Carrier part number TH934XTR. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pinholes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the threaded pinholes and tighten with a wrench. Now let's go over some clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and this vehicle fit together. There's about 11 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about six inches. With the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 16 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. To access the cargo area, we'll pull the pin located at the bottom of the carrier and tilt the carrier down. This will allow you to have access to your cargo door. more
