So it's pretty convenient that these late-model trucks, a lot of them are coming with these prep packages. It makes using a gooseneck hitch or even a fifth wheel for that matter really convenient because it just drops right into place. You don't really have to install anything. So there's several different gooseball kits available for the Sierra. more

A lot of these late model trucks are starting to put these prep packages in. Makes it super easy to use a gooseneck ball kit like the CURT or even a fifth wheel for that matter 'cause everything just drops right into place. And with this particular kit, kind of your standard, you know, it has a 2 5/16 ball, which is, you know, the vast, vast majority of gooseneck trailers out there. more

So I think it's really cool, a lotta these late-model trucks now are coming with these Prep Packages. It makes it really straightforward to be able to set up a Gooseneck ball hitch, or even a fifth wheel for that matter, 'cause they just drop right into the factory puck system. Really convenient. And when it comes to these Gooseneck kits, there's several available. The B&W would probably be my choice and my favorite for a few different reasons. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch. And a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch is gonna give you kind of the best of both worlds. It'll give you a gooseneck whenever you need to haul a gooseneck trailer. There's also accessories that you can get a fifth wheel and drop it right in place. If you have a short bed like we have here, you can get the B&W Companion Slider Hitch to account for the head space that you'll need up here to be able to make turns with a fifth wheel trailer. more
