Hi everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com Today I have a 2020 Volkswagen Golf. I'm gonna walk through how to install the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness. This is gonna give us our four-pole connector to give us our proper lighting signals for our trailer. It's also gonna be adaptable to all the five, six, and seven pole adapters, which you can find here at etrailer. This is gonna live inside the vehicle. So, when you wanna use it you'd simply just run it over the rubber strip, plug it into your trailer, and you're ready to go. more

Today on our 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI, we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four-Pole Flat Trailer Connection. This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. This wiring is designed to live inside the vehicle. When you're ready to use it, simply lay it over this rubber seal. Stay away from any connection points, then we close our hatch. Hook it up to our trailer, bike rack, whatever we have, then we're ready to go.When you're not using it, you can simply fold it up, and store it right down by your spare tire, out of the way. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Volkswagen Golf- Video
Today in our 2017 Volkswagen Golf we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with Four-pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C59236. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. Now our wiring is designed to be stored inside our vehicle when it's not in use. One of the reasons you're gonna want this converter style that you have to splice in over other options available on the market is many Volkswagen Golf's on the market use poles with modulated wiring in their tail light systems, which are not compatible with many plug-and-play options. Now we'll show you how to get it installed. To begin our install we'll open our rear hatch. Now we'll take out all of our floor coverings. And to make it easier to see, we'll take out our cargo cover here. more
