Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Honda Accord- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Honda Accord, we're gonna be installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connection, part number 118420.The Tekonsha T Connector is going to allow our Accord to hook up to our trailer with a 4-Pole flat connection and give all the trailer it's basic lighting functions. Things like your running lights, your brake lights, and your turn signals.It ties into our tail lights on our Accord with a simple plug and play design, which means there's no splicing and no modifications needed to be done. One of the nice things about this wiring harness is, it has an integrated convertor box and what that's gonna do is it's gonna protect your Accord from any overloads or electrical shorts coming from your trailer.It simply stows underneath your trunk, near your spare tire. When you're ready to connect it to a trailer, we can simply draw it out, unbundle it and we're going to run it over our threshold. Now if you're worried about this, no need to worry, because the weather stripping is gonna give it enough padding to where it will not get crushed once our rear hatch is closed. You will want to be sure to stay away from that latch. more
