Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan you're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Curt T-connector Vehicle Wiring Harness 4-pole Flat Trailer Connect, part number C56331.This is what your wiring's gonna look like when you get it. You are gonna get a little bundle of wire that you're gonna have to take from this black wire coming off the converter box. It's gonna go up to the battery. Converter box, this is probably the most important part of this wiring harness. This is what's gonna protect your vehicle, your factory wiring on your vehicle, when you back feed from your trailer, if your trailer has a short or something in the light circuits. You're gonna have a wire, yellow and brown, that's gonna be your driver's side. more

Speaker: Today on this 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, were going to install part number C56150 from Curt. First step is go ahead and open the back hatch because we have to remove the taillight. To remove our taillight, there are two bolts that we have to remove. Well use a 10mm socket to do that. Now, well go ahead and work our taillight loose. Sometimes, you can pull back on the top and bottom and work it out. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan 118534- Video
Today on this 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan were going to install part number 118534 from Tow Ready. This is their T1 wiring harness. To start off our install were going ahead an opening up the back hatch. Well go ahead and remove the drivers side taillight; two bolts we have to remove, and then we can go ahead and pop it away from the body. Next, well have to disconnect the electrical. Theres a small red lock that we have to push to unlock it and then theres a small tab located towards the inside of the light that we can push down and release the wire harness from it. more
