Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Chrysler Pacifica

Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Chrysler Pacifica, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Part number C55530. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, it's designed to be hidden in our storage compartment in the back of our vehicle when it's not in use. When we're ready to use it, we simply grab it from the storage compartment here, drape down some of the wire, lay it atop the weather stripping seal of our rear hatch, making sure it's to the side of our latch. And we can close our hatch on up. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Chrysler Pacifica

Today on our 2008 Chrysler Pacifica we'll be installing the Tow-ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Connector, part number 118303.To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the rear taillights. To do this, we'll open up the rear hatch and then remove the 2 screws securing the taillight assembly. Starting on the driver's side, after we remove the screws, we'll set them aside. Using a plastic pry tool or flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry out between the housing and taillight assembly, pulling straight back from the vehicle, to release the fastener underneath, careful not to break this fastener.Next we'll remove the taillightcompletely by unlocking the red locking tab and then pressing on the connector lock, releasing the wiring harness from the taillight assembly. Now that we've removed the driver's side taillight assembly, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the passenger side. We'll remove the manufacturer's grommet, where the wiring runs into the body of the vehicle. After we remove the grommet from its position, take the yellow wire, pull it out along with the connector that's wrapped in the foam padding. more
