Shane: Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today, I'm going to walk you through how to install the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness on your 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. Adding wiring to your vehicle is going to allow you to get light functions from your vehicle to a trailer so that you're legal and safe. This wiring is going to mount outside the vehicle. You can either use your dust cap to hold your wiring on your hitch, if you're not using it, or you can do what we did here and put a couple of no-drill mounting brackets.
