Today in our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class II Custom-Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube's going to be completely hidden behind the bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. Now, it is a class II hitch, which means it's going to give us that 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" receiver tube opening, which is going to be great for bike racks, cargo carriers, or some light-duty towing.The way we're going to mount any of our accessories is to the hitch pin hole here on the side. Our hitch is going to accept a standard 1/2" pinning clip. Now, these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories stay secure. more

And as far as the safety chain connection points go, it's going to be a loop style, welded to the bottom of the receiver tube and as you can see, we're not going to have too much trouble getting most size hooks on or off and we'll have plenty of room to get those on there and not have to worry about interference with the pin and clip.As far as weight capacity goes, our hitch is going to have a 300 pound tongue weight, which is the maximum downward force at the receiver tube. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it's mostly hidden completely behind the bumper, and you're just going to be able to see the small receiver tube at the bottom.This is a class two, one and a quarter inch by one and a quarter inch receiver, so it's going to be great for bike racks, cargo carriers and very light towing. It features hoop style safety chain loops but it has a nice large opening that will accommodate just about any size safety chain. It uses a half inch hitch pin and clip.Kurt does recommend that you use a stabilization strap when hauling any non-trailer loads.It features a 350 pound tongue weight. That's the force going down on top of the receiver and a 3500 pound gross towing capacity. more

Here's what your hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is how well it's hidden behind our fascia here. Now the reason you're gonna want a class two hitch over a class three hitch is that if you already own class two and class one accessories such as bike racks and cargo carriers, this will allow you to still use your old accessories over your new Grand Caravan without having to replace them or get an adapter.Welded onto the bottom of our receiver are our rolled steel safety chain loops. What I like about these is that even though this is a class two hitch, if you have large diameter safety chain hooks such as this one here, it'll still clip on easily. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Durango, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: 75713.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. This hitch features a nice angular design, which helps conceal underneath our vehicle and it's also tucked up nice and tight against our fascia. This hitch does have a unique feature that other hitches don't offer, and that's this attachment point right here, off to the driver's side, which you can attach any of your wire harnesses to, such as your seven-way round, your four pole flat or any other wiring harness that you may need.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. You can pickup a pin and clip on our website as part number: PC3.This hole here, closest to the rear, that's a rear-pin stabilization device. What that does is take away the annoying shake, play and rattle of what is inserted in your receiver. Bolted onto the bottom of our receiver and the frame of our hitch is our plate-style safety chain loops. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Challenger we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the Curt custom fit class two trailer hitch receiver, part number is C12064. Now here in the middle we've got a receiver tube opening, this is an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter, it's a class two hitch. You can see the nice flush reinforcement collar there.With class two hitches you'll be able to use your bike racks, up to four bikes, cargo carriers, just about any type of hitch accessory out there on the market should be available in a class two variety. You'll use the half inch diameter pin, you want to be sure you choose a class two rated accessory but it looks like there's plenty of room there if you wanted to use an anti-rattle device or even a locking hitch pin. Safety chain connection points are a rounded steel stock, should be plenty of room for any light duty trailer to get those hooks connected there.You can see it's tucked in pretty far underneath the vehicle here so running into it or bumping into really isn't gonna be a big issue for you. Now the hitch offers a 350 pound tongue weight rating, so that's the maximum downward force we can put at the receiver tube opening and it gives us a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating, that would be the total weight of your trailer and anything you we're to load up on it. more

Part number is: C13236.Here's what your hitch is gonna look like installed. So you can see, we've got our 2" x 2" receiver tube opening here in the middle, safety chain connection points here, and then you'll see the tube that's gonna run across the rear of the vehicle. That's, of course, gonna go up to our side plates, where it connects to the frame. This is a Class III hitch, so it's gonna be very versatile. It is going to sit just right below the bumper, but it is going to blend in nicely with the black plastic here, so it's not going to distract from the looks of our charger. It is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tip opening, and as you can see, it has a reinforced collar, not only giving it that added strength, but just an overall clean, finished look.Now the way that we're going to attach any of our accessories through our hitch, is going to be through this hole right here towards the front. Today on your 2010 Dodge Durango, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max Frame custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 75713. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below our bumper and our cross tube is going to come back and go a little bit angled towards the front of the vehicle. It's going to have a two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening. It is a class-three hitch. It's going to have a nice reinforced collar on it, giving it a nice clean look. If we bring our attention here to the side of our receiver tube, this back hole here, this is going to be for a standard 5/8th pin and clip which is not included with our hitch, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Dart - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe class 1 trailer hitch receiver, part number 24890. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's tucked up nice and tight to the underside of the fascia here so it's going to maintain a pretty clean look when on the vehicle so it's not going to take away and make it really stand out. Features the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It's got the rolled steel safety chain connection points underneath here. It's got a 1/2" hitch pinhole, which is going to be good for securing all of your class 1 accessories. This features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the the downward force here on the inside of the receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey- Video
Today in our 2016 Dodge Journey we'll be installing a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class 3, part number C13201. As you can see it's a nice clean look, has this nice angular design to give us plenty of drop so we don't have any clearance issues when we're inserting accessories into our hitch, don't want to worry about anything hitting our bumper cover here. This hitch has a 400 lb max gross tongue weight rating and a 4,000 lb max gross trailer weight rating. It does support the use of weight distribution but those numbers stay the same, they do not increase at all. You may notice this hitch has a nice welded on collar at the end of it to give it a nice finished look and add a little bit of reinforcement to it. We have these angular plates for our safety chain welded on the bottom of our receiver. more

Now here's what your hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, a completely hidden cross tube. That's excellent for the cosmetics here at the rear of the vehicle. See our receiver tube opening tucks up very nicely to the bottom of the bumper, not going to have to worry about cutting the bumper or anything like that, but it gets it up as high as absolutely possible. This is a class three hitch, so we've got our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening here. more

As you can see that cross tube is going to remain hidden up behind the inaudible 00:00:18 so you're not going to be adding a lot to the looks of the rear of the vehicle. Just your receiver two opening here and your safety chain connection points. Now, connection points are nice and open, made out of a round, steel stack, so just about any style chain should work out well on there. Here's our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. You'll see the band woven around the end there to act as a reinforcement collar. more

Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. Nice thing I like about it aesthetically is this crosstube is going to be completely hidden up behind that rear fascia. All we're really going to be adding is going to be our receiver tube opening here and our safety chain connection points. Those connection points you'll see are the rolled steel style. I like those are going to do the job but they're not one of those big plates that take up a lot of room there. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey - Curt- Video
Today on our 2006 Dodge Journey we will be installing a Curt class 2 inch and a quarter trailer hitch receiver. Part number C12134. As you can see, very little that hangs down below our vehicle. Just a little bit of the frame, the class 2 inch and a quarter receiver itself, our safety chain loops which are right at the bottom of it here on this angular plate. Now, these are kind of small, so if you have some large safety chain loops on your trailer you may need to change the hook out to something that's a little bit smaller to fit inside of here. You see our receiver has this nice collar welded around it to give it a nice finished look and give it a little bit more reinforcement. On the side of our receiver we have our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hole. Now, this hitch has a 350 pound tongue weight rating, and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Journey we will be installing the Draw-tite Max Frame Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75648. Here is what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it tucks up nicely underneath our vehicle, doesn't hang down an excessive amount. We have plenty of room around our spare tire here to lower it down without having to get a weird angle to when we put it back up. It is a nice feature. Some other ones sit above it a little bit, this one doesn't. This hitch has a nice gloss black powder coat finish that blends in nicely with our vehicle. It looks like it was there from the factory. more

Our connection points up here on the frame rail are going to be hidden. Kind of drops down, comes underneath the rear fascia to our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening here. Going to have a flush style reinforcement collar, gives us a nice clean look. You'll see that's inset on our bumper so you won't have to worry about bumping our legs on it. more

It's part number is 75713. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. Visually from behind the vehicle we'll see the side plates, we're going to see the cross tube coming over to the receiver tube opening. With this being a Class III hitch it's going to be extremely versatile, tons of accessories that you can put in here, cargo carriers, bike racks, of course ball mounts for towing trailers. There's any number of things that usually make it in a Class III version, so you should be able to take advantage of it. To secure all those items in place going to have the pinhole closer to the front of the vehicle. more
