Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number rky1011. With the Thule Aero Blade Roof Rack System already assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test by placing the bike rack onto the vehicle's load bars.We'll start with the rear bracket by loosening up the Allen bolts to bring the rear bracket around the underside of the rear load bar. We'll then use the included Allen key to turn the Allen bolts tightly up against the rear load bar. We'll now move back up to the front where we'll remove the black plastic cover to hook the straps in the connection points.We'll then use the included Allen key to turn the silver bolt to bring the straps up around tightly against the front load bar. Once the front straps are tight we can move back to the rear to finish tightening the rear bracket. Now with everything all tightened down we're ready to load up our bike.We'll replace the black plastic cover at the front and double check to make sure our skewer is loose. more

To begin our test fit well place the Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front well bring our front clamp around our front bar, place our t-bolt through the slot in the clamp and tighten it down with the wing nut. Well do this for both sides of our front platform. Here at the rear well bring our bolts around our rear bar. Well place the bolt through the bracket and tighten down the two wing nuts. more

Here at the rear, well take our u-bolt and drop it through the top of the carrier making sure it goes around our load bar and secure it with the other two wing nuts. more

With a Thule Aeroblade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Stretch directly on to our load bars. Here at the front well need to remove the black plastic cover and then we can bring our straps around the front bar and fit them back into the head of the carrier. Well use an Allen key to tighten down the Allen bolt which will then tighten our straps around our front bar. Once we have that tight we can then reinstall our black plastic cover. Here at the rear well undo the bolts and bring our rear bracket around our rear bar and then tighten the Allen bolts with an Allen key. more

Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Series, we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth roof-mounted bike rack, part number TH599XTR. With the Thule square bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we'll loosen up the clamps so that we can bring them around our front bar. We'll put the bolts back through the appropriate slots on the clamp, and use the wing nuts at the top to tighten it down. Once we have the front secured, we can move to the rear. We'll undo the wing nuts, remove our bracket, and then fit our clamp around our rear bar. more

Well go ahead and start with the rear bracket by loosening up one wing nut to bring the bracket around the underside of the rear load bar. Well then reinstall the black wing nuts and tighten them down loosely to allow us to maneuver the bike rack back and forth. Well then move to the front where we will loosen up the t-bolts to bring the brackets around the underside of the front load bar. We can then hook the t-bolts into the brackets and turn the black wing nuts to secure the clamps to the front load bar. more

Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty well be test fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number s64710. Well begin our test fit by placing the bike rack onto the vehicles load bars. Well then pull out our hardware and start with the silver brackets to go underneath the front load bar into the predrilled holes of the front part of the rack. Well then thread on our black wing nuts onto the silver brackets. Well now move to the rear and take our last silver bracket and this time place down on top of the carrier through the predrilled holes and take the black plate which will go on to the silver bracket up against the bottom side of the rear load bar. Well then use the included wing nuts to thread onto the silver bracket to secure the rear part of the carrier to the rear load bar. more

Once we have them through the platform, we can then install the wing nut to tighten them in place. We'll do this for both sides of the front platform. Here at the rear, we'll drop the U bolt through the top of the carrier, making sure it goes around our crossbar. more

We can then remove the black plastic cover and use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt, to tighten our straps around our crossbars. Once we have those straps tight, we can then reinstall the black plastic cover. Here at the rear, we'll loosen up the bolt so that we can fit our rear clamp around our rear bar. more

Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon XL

Today, on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, we are going to be test fitting the Yakima FrontLoader Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02103. Our Yukon is equipped with the full factory roof-rack, so were going to mount the FrontLoader directly to the factory cross bars. Well take the carrier and set it on top of our cross bars, and then it will fit the head of our bike carrier around the front cross bar and use the hand knob to tighten the clamp down. Then we can take the clamp in the rear and slide it over our rear cross bar, and use the T-bolt and included wing nuts to tighten it down. With that done, our bike rack is secured to our roof-rack and were ready to load up a bike. We need to make sure that the front wheel hoop us up and open. more

Today, on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, we are going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02098. Our Yukon is equipped with the full factory roof-rack, so were going to go ahead and mount our Forklift directly to the factory cross bars. To do this, well remove the securer from the head of the bike rack first. Well open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our front cross bar, and then well tighten it down with the T-bolt and wing nut. Now, we can slide the cover back into place and then we can reinstall our securer. At the back, we need to slide the clamp over our rear cross bar, and again well tighten it down with the T-bolt and wing nut. more

Today on our two-thousand-thirteen GMC Yukon XL were going to be test fitting the RockyMounts Tierod roof mounted bike carrier, part number rky1014. Our Yukon is equipped with the factory roof rack so were going to mount the RockyMounts Tierod directly to factory crossbars. Well lift up the carrier and set it on top of our crossbars feeding the straps at the head of the bike carrier around our front bar. Lock them back into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Now we can go ahead and reinstall the cover on the head of the bike rack. At the back well use the clamp and the Allen bolts to secure the rear of the bike rack to the rear crossbar. Once weve done that were ready to load up our bike. We can go ahead and pick up our bike, place the rear wheel into the wheel tray and drop the front fork down into our skewer. more

Today, on our 2007 Toyota Tacoma, well be test fitting the Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Rack from Swagman, part number S64710. With the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system assembled on to our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the fork down directly on to our load bars.At the front, well take the u-bolts, bring them up through our platform, making sure that they go around our load bar from the underside, and tighten them place with the wing knots. We can repeat that process for the other side. Once we have the front secured, we can move to the rear, take our u-bolt and drop it in from the top of the bike rack, making sure it goes around our rear load bar, well fit it through the bracket, and tighten them place with the two wing knots. Your preparation to load our bike, we need to make sure that the securer at the front is loose, and the wheel strap at the rear is undone. Well grab our bike, place it on to the carrier, and drop our front forks down on to our securer. more

We'll then move to the rear, where we can also loosen up the black wing nut t put the rear bracket around the underside of the rear crossbar, and slide in the sliver T bolt and tighten down the wing nut. We can then move back up to the front to finish tightening the front bracket. Now with everything all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our bike. more

We'll then pull out our hardware and take the silver bracket to go on the underside of the front load bar into the pre-drilled holes in the front part of the bike rack. We'll then thread on our black wing nuts to pinch the bike rack and the bracket up against the load bar, securing the front part of the bike rack to the front load bar. We'll now go to the rear of the carrier, where we will this time slide the silver bracket down on through the holes in the bike rack, and take the silver plate to slide on to the silver bracket up against the bottom portion of the rear load bar. We'll then thread on our wing nuts and tighten them down. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon XL

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique rooftop bike carrier, part number TH513. Our Yukon is already equipped with factory rails and roof rack, and so we're ready to go ahead and install our bike rack. We'll simply set the Domestique on top of the crossbars. We'll line up the head of the bike carrier with the front crossbar, and adjust the rear mounting point to the rear crossbar of our vehicle. We can then take the front head cover, bring it underneath the front crossbar, and tighten it down using the Allen wrench included with the bike rack. After the front head is tight, we can move to the rear attachment point and bring the clamp underneath the rear load bar and tighten it down using the included hardware. more

With that being done, our bike rack is secured and we're ready to load up. more

We'll then move to the rear of the carrier, where we'll loosen up the bracket, swing it around the underside of the rear crossbar, and use the included Allen key to tighten it down. Now we can go back to the front, where we will again use the included Allen key to tighten down the straps and secure the bike carrier to the vehicle. Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle, we can replace the black front plastic cap, and move to the rear of the carrier, where we can undo the cradle straps to prepare for our bike. more

RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the RockyMounts Tierod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number rky1011. Well begin our test fit by placing the bike rack on to the vehicles crossbars. Well then remove the black plastic cover at the front to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front crossbar. Well then move to the rear and loosen up the Allen bolts to bring the rear bracket around the underside of the rear crossbar. Well then use the included Allen wrench to tighten down the Allen bolts loosely for the rear bracket. Well then move to the front where we will use the included Allen key to tighten down the silver bolt to bring the straps up around the front bar. more

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, will be test fitting the Thule Domestique fork mounted bike carrier part number TH513. With our Thule Arrow Blade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle will begin our test fit by placing our Domestique directly onto our load bars. For easier installation I went ahead and removed the front skewer and loosened up the front and rear brackets will bring are from bracket around our front load bar fit the bulb through and tighten with an Allen key. Then we'll go to the rear making sure our carrier is in line and bring our rear bracket around our rear bar. We'll fit the bolt through our rear bracket and tighten the two Allen bolts with our Allen key. With our bike carrier tighten secured will go ahead and install our skewer at the front leaving it loose, move to the rear and undo our rear wheel strap. more

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, will be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod Stretch roof mounted bike carrier part number RKY1011. With the Thule Aero blade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle will begin our test fit by placing our carrier directly onto our load bars will bring the rubber coated seal straps around the front load bar fitting the back into the head of the carrier and use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt which will tighten our strap. We can then replace our black plastic cover and then move to the rear of the carrier. Will fit the bolt through the bracket and tighten each bolt using an Allen key. With that bracket tight, were now able to load up our bike. We just need to undo our rear wheel strap and make sure that the skewer at the front is loose. more

With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our FrontLoader directly onto our crossbars. We'll fit the front clamp around our front bar. We'll then use the T hand knob at the front of our carrier to tighten our clamp around our front crossbar. Once we have that tight, we can move to the rear, bring our rear bracket around our rear bar. We'll drop out T bolt through the appropriate slot on our clamp, and use the T handle on top of our carrier to tighten it down. more

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, well be test fitting the Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Rack from Swagman, part number S64710. With the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle well begin our test fit by placing our carrier directly onto our load bars. Well two of the larger U-bolts and place them up through our bracket, making sure that each U-bolt goes around the underside of our load bar. With the bolt in through the bracket, well secure it by tightening down some wing nuts. Well do this for both sides of our bracket.Then well move to the rear and drop our U-bolt in from the top of the carrier, making sure it goes around our rear load bar and then well take our black bracket, fit it through the U-bolt and up against the underside of our rear load bar. Well tighten our U-bolts securing our bracket in place.With everything tight, were now ready to load our bike. more

Today on our 2010 Ford Flex, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique roof-mounted bike carrier, part number TH513. We'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's crossbars. We'll loosen up the Allen bolts on the rear bracket, as well as the Allen bolts at the head of the carrier, to bring both brackets around the underside of the front and rear crossbar. Once we've positioned the brackets over the crossbars, we'll use the Allen key to tighten down the Allen bolts to secure our Thule Domestique to our Ford Flex. Once everything's tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll undo the tray strap at the rear of the carrier and double check to make sure the skewer's loose as well. more

Here at the front well bring the clamps around our load bar, drop the bolts through the other side and tighten down the top with the wing nut. Well do this for both clamps at the front of our carrier. Now well move to the rear, remove the wing nuts, fit the bolts around our rear bar, slide the bracket onto the bolts so its sitting on the underside of the load bar, and tighten with two wing nuts. Once our bike rack is secured to our vehicle we can go ahead and undo the wheel straps. more

We'll move to the rear and bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, feed the bolt back through the clamp, and tighten down with an Allen tool. more

We'll do this for both sides. We'll measure the rear and undo both wing nuts and remove the bracket. more

Well do this for both sides of the platform at the front of our carrier. Once we have that tight and secured, well move to the rear. more

Well bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, feed the t-bolt through the appropriate slot, and tighten it down. Now we can go ahead and open our wheel cradle at the front and undo our rear wheel strap. Well grab our bike, place it onto the carrier, bring our wheel cradle up to secure our front wheel, and use the red hand knob to tighten it in place. more

Once both the front and rear bracket are all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our bike. We'll remove the skewer at the front to slide in our plastic protective covering. more

Here at the front, we'll feed the bolts through the appropriate slots and tighten with an Allen wrench. Then we'll move to the rear, feed the bolts through the appropriate slots in the clamp, and tighten it down with an Allen wrench. more

Now we'll move to the rear and drop the U bolt through the top of the carrier around our crossbar and through our black bracket, and then we'll tighten the wing nuts from underneath. more

We'll feed the straps back into the head and tighten them down with an Allen wrench. Once we have that tight, we can replace our black plastic cover. We'll move to the rear and feed our bolts back to the clamp, then we can tighten it down with an Allen wrench. more
