Hi there Jayco owners. Today in your 2018 Jayco Greyhawk, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install SumoSprings for the front axle. And this is what our SumoSprings look like when they're installed. They are a direct replacement for your factory jounce bumpers but they're considerably larger and they'll provide contact much sooner than what your factory jounce bumper would. We've currently got the vehicle lifted up in the air so we do have a bit of a gap here. That's just so we can get under here and be able to take a look at these a little bit better. more

Air Helper Springs are going to provide extra support for your rear axle so your axle is not making up for what your suspension can't handle.Nice thing about having these springs is they can be aired up independently. If we have more weight on one side of the vehicle, we can add a little bit more air in that spring to help support that load on that one side. Now, if you're wanting to make it a little bit easier to add and decrease the pressure in your bags, there are compressors available. more

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hey guys. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System here on our 2019 Ford F-150. This is what our system is going to look like when installed. As you can see here, we have a nice rubber Aeon spring, followed up with our metal brackets here on the top, which attaches it to the frame. And then the bottom bracket here, which is going to serve as the contact point for the spring.If we take a look at the factory spring that this one replaces, as you can see, there's quite a big difference. The differences are going to be not only the height and how soon it engages, but the material of the spring is also going to be different as well. more

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus Air Springs Install - 2011 Ram 1500- Video
Hi there Ram owners, today in your 2011 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 Airbags. This is what our airbags look like when they're installed. They install between the axle and the frame of the vehicle, and they have internal jounce bumpers inside them, since we do remove the factory jounce bumper. Also don't we just remove the factory jounce bumper, but the entire jounce bumper mounting. It's nice that these have that internal jounce bumper for when we're running in conditions maybe where we're unloaded and or we just have a minor load and we've got just a little bit of air in the bags. In the event that we do bottom out, we have that bumper in there to ensure that we don't have any contact and causing damage to our suspension components.These bags are going to allow you to inflate each side independently as well. more

Air helper springs are designed to support load in the back of the vehicle when you add weight. The reason we want that is because as we put weight in the back of our vehicles, it's going to drop the back end. We're putting unnecessary stress on our rear axle because our suspension can't handle the weight. When we do that, we raise the front end, our headlights aim up in the air, not at the ground, we have uneven tire wear because our tires turn in. more

We're going to start by taking a measurement of our ride height unloaded, which here at the back from the ground to the fender. Well, here is about 41 and a half inches. Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System here on our 2011 Ram 2,500. So the main purpose of our Timbren Springs are they're going to reduce the amount of sag or squat we have while we're towing or hauling a heavy load.The reason that's important is a lot of people don't actually realize some of the effects that our suspension has when we're squatting down. So without the Timbren's, our truck here depending on the amount of load we have is going to be squatting a couple inches and that couple inches, believe it or not, is going to have some drastic effects on our truck and towing.So what most people notice is that the truck's squatting and it just looks stupid. It looks kind of dumb having the rear end of your truck all the way down with the front end of your truck pointing up. But aside from that, there's actually a lot more going on behind the scenes most people aren't aware of.Number one, we're going to be wearing out our factory suspension much sooner than we would normally driving without a load. more

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche- Video
Connor: Hey, everybody. How's it going Connor today here at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at Firestone's Coil-Rite air springs here for our 2011 Chevy Avalanche. As you can see, it's going to be a bag that installs inside of the factory coil springs. Now, essentially how this works is we're going to inflate the air bags to a varying degree of PSI, depending on how much support we need. That is then in turn, going to stretch out and it's going to make this airbag really stiff here, but what that does is, it sort of prevents the coil springs from compressing as much relative to how much air pressure we have in there.Therefore, if we have a bunch of weight in the bag, and we're experiencing some sagging issues here with our coil springs, we can actually stop them from compressing as much with these airbags here. more

Hi there, Chevy owners. Today on your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Torklift's StableLoad Suspension Enhancement System. These are available either in a stainless steel, which we'll be showing off today or a black powder coat finish. And this is what our StableLoads look like when they're installed. There are extra plates that are designed to go between your lower overload spring and your leaf spring stack, which will cause your overload spring here to be applying additional pressure onto your suspension sooner than it would be before.This is going to provide you with more support here in the back. It's going to help lift up your vehicle some if you are sagging down due to heavy loads here in the back. more

They're going to mount in the exact same location, so you just simply have to remove your old one here and install your new one. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter, 7,500 air helper springs on our 2014 Ford F250. Now features are one thing, but how the truck is actually going to perform once you have the airbags installed is another. So before I put the airbags on, I put some weight in the truck and drove it around to feel it out. Now that I have the airbags on, I threw the same weight in there and I'm really curious to see how it's going to improve. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs for the rear on our 2017 Ford F150.Now before we actually put our bags on, we'd like to take our truck out on a test course, get an idea of the baseline of how our truck handles and whenever we put a load in the back, as well. That way, whenever we do have our bags installed, we can take a really good test and have something to compare it to. We all know everybody wants to see them working, but we also know that you want to see how to get them installed. If you stick around at the end of the video, we are going to go through that process together.If you're looking for airbags for your truck, it's most likely because you either haul a heavy load in the bed of your truck, or you tow a trailer pretty often and most likely it's probably a pretty heavy load for a trailer. more

Now the reason why you might be looking into airbags is because a lot of people use these trucks for a lot of different things. People use them for work, they may tow a trailer full of equipment, or they may have a bed full of gear that they're carrying. Or, you may just use it as your personal vehicle and you have a fifth wheel trailer, camper, or something else that you like to tow on the weekends to spend some time with your family.But once you start putting a lot of weight in the back of the bed, really the back end starts sagging down, we get a really rough ride, and it takes a toll on our truck. more

Before we start our install, we're going to hit our test course and get a baseline of how the motor home handles. Now here at Etrailer, we get a lot of questions about suspension, especially on motorhomes, because let's face it they're really top heavy, they're tall. And there's a lot of area for wind to catch so they don't typically drive the best. And we end up getting tossed around, pushed around on the highway. more
