Now before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube, and we'll get a measurement of about 21-1/2". This measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or any other after-market accessories. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, line up the pin holes, and secure it to the hitch with the pin and clip. Now since this ball mount does not have a drop or a rise, if the hitch height of your vehicle matches your trailer's ride height, which is the measurement from the ground to the bottom of your trailer's couple while your trailer is level, this would be an appropriate ball mount for you. more

If the hitch height of your vehicle matches the hitch height of our vehicle and your trailer ride height which is the measurement from the ground to the bottom of your trailer's coupler while it is level matches this measurement this will be an appropriate ball mount for you.We'll now flip the ball mount over to the rise position and again measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and we'll get a measurement of about 28-1/2 inches. more

Now to begin our test fit in the drop position, well simply slide the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and turn the integrated key lock to bring out the pins located in the shank of the ball mount to secure it to the hitch. Now with the ball mount secured to the hitch we can use the key to raise and lower the ball platform of the ball mount, and also have the ability to switch it over to use the other size ball. more

Today, on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, we will be test fitting the converter ball cushioned pintle hook combo with three nickel-plated balls for two-inch hitches, rated at 16,000 pounds, part number PH2. Now, to begin our test fit, we will simply slide the shank into the opening of the hitch and secure it with the pin and clip. To access the pintle or to insert one of the three nickel-plated balls, we will undo the gold safety pin on the bottom of the shank and we will pull out on the silver, spring-loaded button to lift up on the U-shaped bar at the top of the pintle hook. Then, twist it to expose a silver cylinder for our pintle or we can remove that to insert one of our three nickel-plated balls. Now, since this pintle hook has no rise or drop, if your trailer ride height matches your hitch height, this should be an appropriate pintle hook for you. Now, before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain a hitch height of our vehicle, which is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube and we will get a measuring of 19 inches. Now, to begin our test fit and the draw position, we will slide the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and secure it with a pin and clip. Now, this ball mount is adjustable, so the ball mount platform at its lowest position, we will measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and we will get a measurement of about nine inches. If the hitch height of your vehicle matches the hitch height of our vehicle and your trailer ride height matches this measurement, this would be an appropriate ball mount for you. We will now flip the ball mount over into the rise position and with the ball mount platform at its highest point, we will measure from the top of the ground to the ball platform and we will get a measurement of about 28 inches. more

To measure the hitch height, well measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch height measures 19-1/8 inches. We will go ahead and insert the ball mount with the receiver tube of our hitch lined with the hitch pin holes and insert our pin and clip. The six-way provides three different ball sizes; one is 7/8ths, 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch, as well as the ability to use a inaudible 00:00:33ring spade or inaudible 00:00:36 and connect it to this ball mount. There is no rise or drop involved with this ball mount, so the trailer height will measure the same as our hitch height, 19-1/8 inches. more

Thats the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube.To test fit our ball mount, were going to insert the end of the receiver tube of the hitcher, well line up the hitch pinholes and secure the draw bar with the pin.In the drop position, the ideal trailer coupler height would be 17-1/4 inches. Now, well go ahead and flip it over to our rise position. In the rise position, an ideal trailer coupler height would be 20 inches.Keep in mind that when you measure your trailer height, makes your trailer is leveled first. more

Today, on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, were going to be test fitting the Covert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount, Part Number AMSC10. But before we can begin our test fit, first we want to measure the hitch height of our truck. To measure the hitch height, well measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. For this vehicle, our hitch height is 19-1/4 inches.To test our ball mount, first were going to mount it in the drop position. Well insert the shank of the ball mount into the receiver tube of the hitch, well line up the hitch pinholes and secure the ball mount with a pin and a clip.Next, well measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform. Our measurement comes in at nine inches. more

Now to begin our test fit, in the drop position, we will slide the shake of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and turn the lock to engage the interlocking hitch pins on the inside of the ball mount. Now, as you can see, with using the key, you can adjust the length of the drop of the ball mount as well as switching it over to the other ball. We now can flip the ball mount over into the rise position and still see that the ball mount platform can be raised or lowered as well as flipping the ball mount over to use a different size ball. Well now flip the ball mount over into the rise position and using the same pin that we used to lower it in the draw position, we will pull that pin out to adjust the height of our ball platform.
