etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2016 Ford Transit T150- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at ETrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the ETrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2016 Ford Transit T-150. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your transit, and it's an exposed cross tube, which means you can see a good majority of the hitch, but honestly, on something like this, you're probably not too worried about the aesthetics, and this one is actually a really good option, because it is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Which is gonna be great, you're gonna have a ton of different options when it comes to accessories, so whether you're putting a ball mount, a bike rack, or cargo carrier on your hitch, you'll be able to pick from a bunch of them. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick accessories, they're gonna come with those pin and clips. But if you wanna pick up a separate one, or if you have some used products that you need a pin and clip for, we have plenty of versions of locking ones here at ETrailer, which is really nice, especially if you plan on keeping your accessories on at all time. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Subaru Impreza- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look installing the Eco Hitch trailer hitch receiver on 2023 Subaru Impreza. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Impreza and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see hanging outside of the vehicle is gonna be the safety chain loops and the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Then that's something I'll point out. Some of the other options for the Impreza are only inch and a quarter and have lower weight capacities, where this one being a two inch by two inch really opens it up for a lot of different accessories. Whether you're using a bike rack, a ball mount or a cargo carrier, you're gonna have tons of options available. All of those are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2023 Audi SQ5- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch rack receiver kit on a 2023 Audi SQ5. Now this is what your hitch will look like when it's installed and you may be wondering, well, where is it And that's where it gets the name Stealth Hitch because when you're not using your hitch, it's going to give you a completely factory look because the receiver block is hitting right here behind the fascia. And so when you are ready to load up accessories it's as simple as turning a knob back, locking that in place, and putting in your two inch receiver tube opening. And with that lock in place you're ready to start using your hitch. Now with your two inch receiver tube opening in place you're ready to load up your bike rack or cargo carrier and it's gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch installation kit but it is required to get your accessories in place and a lot of times your accessories will come with one if you want to pick up a locking version that's pretty nice to have if you plan on leaving those accessories on. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Genesis G80- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Genesis G80. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Genesis and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see a good portion of the hitch underneath the vehicle but it's tucked up pretty well to where it looks pretty clean overall and it centers up pretty nicely here on our rear diffuser. So overall a pretty good look. Now this is an 1-1/4 inch receiver tube opening so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a ball mount if you plan on towing a trailer. But there are still options available that you can get to load up those accessories and all of them are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. Now the pin and clip does not come with the hitch. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Honda Odyssey- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the CURT class three two inch hitch receiver. Now, a few of the reasons why you would want to put a two inch hitch receiver on your Honda Odyssey is that if you wanna pull a small trailer you can hook up a ball mount to your Honda Odyssey hook up to a trailer and pull it on your trips a cargo carrier to get some of that bulky items out of the back of your car and onto the cargo carrier. Or if you're wanting to carry bikes to and from the trail you can put a bike rack on here. Easily carry four or five bikes outside of the vehicle and get 'em to and from the trail safely. This hitch receiver's gonna come with integrated safety chain loops so that you can get your safety chains correctly hooked up to your vehicle so that in the occurrence of a unlikely disconnect from your trailer your safety chains will sit here and pull so that your trailer doesn't go flying down the highway. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Toyota Camry- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2022 Toyota Camry. So with this being a Class 1 hitch it's gonna be pretty limited in terms of weight capacity but if you're looking to carry something like a bike rack or maybe a small cargo carrier or even tow a very small trailer it can certainly get the job done and it really expands the function of your Camry. I think most commonly it's probably gonna be something like a bike rack, and our neighbor today is gonna be using this for a bike rack. With a 200 pound max tongue weight rating it's going to be more than enough for most bike racks loaded up with some pretty standard bikes, maybe not the best option for E-bikes but with the Camry your options are gonna be very limited. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Toyota Prius- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2015 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see the majority of the hitch below the fascia, but really this car is fairly low so unless you're directly behind it you're really not gonna see much except for the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops. Now this one being an 1-1/4 means that you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts because it is a Class 1. That's kind of the nature of it. I have one on my own vehicle and it hasn't stopped me from putting cargo carriers or bike racks so don't let that deter you as there's not really a whole lot of other options for this vehicle. Now all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. more

Looks like they tried to do a pretty good job of keeping it compact and, you know, completely hidden for the most part. So with this one, you are gonna be able to see the receiver tube opening, but whenever the car's on the ground, you know, it does kind of just protrude right out from the lower portion of our bumper fascia there, so it doesn't look terrible by any means, at least in my opinion. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we've got a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Class III Two-inch Hitch Receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Crosstrek is gonna allow you to carry bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even pull a small trailer. The Crosstrek is a very versatile vehicle, but the space inside can sometimes be limited. So that's why getting bulkier items, like a cooler or some luggage, onto a cargo rack, or if you're wanting to take bikes to and from the trail, getting them outta your car if you can even fit 'em inside of your vehicle. A lot of times people don't think about, you know, they can put their bikes inside their car when they leave for the trail, but once they're done riding, you have to be very careful to not get your bike covered in mud so you don't have to stick it back inside your car. more

The Enclave has a pretty good storage inside but if you have that back row folded up you're not going to be able to store very many things in the back of the vehicle. Now, the number one question that we get with the Audis and the trailer hitches is: Will the kick sensors still work I've just unlocked it. Yes, the sensor still works, regardless if you have the receiver tube installed in the bumper or not. The best feature of this hitch that I think is that when you are done towing, or done biking, or done with your cargo rack, anything that you would use this hitch for and you don't want it on the vehicle anymore, it comes right off. Now, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed, and this is a exposed cross tube, meaning you can see a good majority of the hitch, or at least the beam that attaches up to the frame. And normally, that's something that I I'm not exactly a huge fan on passenger vehicles, but it generally does give you a higher weight capacity, and that's definitely the case in this one. And on a Jeep, I think as a utilitarian look, it actually looks pretty cool on here. So I don't think it takes away from the looks at all. more

The one issue with them is the back of the vehicle's not very large, so you're not gonna have a whole lot of room for storage especially if you're trying to get something like a bike to and from the trail head. It's gonna be very difficult and really messy if you're coming back from the trail to slide that bike in the back of your car. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Jeep Gladiator. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on the Gladiator and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you are gonna see a large portion of the hitch below the bumper and normally on a passenger vehicle or something along those lines. I'm not a huge fan of these because it kind of detracts away from the look of the vehicle, but on a Jeep it actually pulls it off pretty well and another bonus of having that exposed cross tube generally means that you're gonna get a little bit higher weight capacities and this one is no different. Now this being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means that you have a ton of accessories available for it. So whether you're looking at bike racks, cargo carriers or ball mounts, you're gonna have plenty to choose from. And we have plenty of options here at etrailer. more

Adding a two-inch hitch receiver to the back end of your Honda Pilot's gonna allow you to carry cargo carriers, bike racks, and maybe even a ball mount to be able to pull a small trailer. EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Toyota Prius- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is a hidden cross tube. This one bolts up behind the bumper beam so you got a nice clean look and the only thing that's gonna be visible from outside of the vehicle is gonna be the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and also the plate style safety chain loops. And that's something that's interesting about this hitch. This car generally has 1-1/4 of a Class 1 hitch so the availability for a 2 inch is really nice. Now you're not really gonna get a ton of different capacities as far as trying to tow more or haul more, but having a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening opens up the window to a bunch of different bike racks and cargo carriers that you might previously be limited with an 1-1/4. more
