Hi there thor owners, today in our 2020 thor wind sport we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install sumo springs for the front axle. So we got our sumo springs installed, we're going to hit our test course here and see the difference. Last we drove this since when we had put the sways bars on it and that helped reduce sway but it did still have some sways. So we're hitting our bumps course once again now with the sumos on there and we're doing our own even bump section here. And you can definitely tell a difference with sumos on there. We hit the bumps, it's a little bit smoother than it was before, it's a little bit more even, even though we're hitting only a single bump here. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 air helper springs here on a 2019 Ford F250. So adding air helper springs here to your F250 is gonna be an excellent option if you guys find yourself to do a lot of heavy-duty towing or hauling. So essentially, what our airbags are gonna do is they're gonna be reducing the amount of sag and squat we have at the rear here while we're towing or hauling. Now the reason that's important is that sag/squat not only looks a little bit funky, it's gonna have drastic effects on our vehicle. It could be something as simple as wearing down your factory suspension much sooner or giving you the improper headlight aim shining other motorists in the eyes or not giving us the best view of the road. Those are just some minor things. more

Hey guys today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System here on our 2021 Ram 2,500. So what are Timbrens and why do we need them Well Timbrens themselves are gonna be replacement for your factory jounce spring. They're gonna be in a replacement upgrade therefore, we're gonna do more to reduce sag and squat when we're towing those heavy loads. So if you guys tow frequently with your trailer or you just simply haul a lot in your truck bed you're probably gonna quickly realize that the factory suspension isn't really the best for this. Especially with the coil springs in the rear of this truck here. They ride great out on the highway but when you need to load 'em up they can really start to suffer from sag and squat which causes a whole bunch of other issues with the vehicle. more

Truck suspension is generally set up to handle pretty heavy loads, whether you be towing or having payload in the bed. Now, sometimes that suspension squats down, and that's gonna cause some really not favorable conditions when driving, which can mean either bad steering or a lack of steering feel, reduced braking, and overall wear on the suspension components of the vehicle. And partly, that's because the vehicle squats down, the front picks up, and you do lose that traction on the front, and it's just overworking the suspension generally on the rear. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Roadmaster Active Suspension Heavy Duty Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit on our 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. So, this heavy duty custom leaf spring kit is gonna be really good about mitigating any sag that you might experience when you're dropping in a heavy load, maybe you're hauling your travel trailer, your fifth wheel and you're just seeing just too big of a sag and it's kinda forcing the front of your truck up and pulling your wheels off of the ground, which is gonna affect your wear on your tires and your braking. So, that's gonna help mitigate that, along with our SumoSprings that our customer already has installed on his truck today. Hey, guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the coil SumoSprings on our 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. So these coil SumoSprings are gonna be really great if you have a snow plow on the front of your Chevy, your Dodge, or your Ford truck, or if you have a wench or any other front-mounted accessory, maybe you have a bike rack on the front and you've got four bikes, and it's really just sagging you down up front and you just need that extra support. And so that you don't feel all those bumps in the road up front. These are also really good if you're off-roading. It will help give your springs a little bit more oomph there, so that they can hold in place and give you a nice stable ride. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Stability Plus Stabilizer on our 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500. So the Stability Plus Stabilizer is really gonna help if you're hauling heavy loads, maybe you got a fifth wheel, maybe you have a travel trailer and it's giving you a whole lot of sag. Dropping you down, putting more weight on the back, then on the front, it really will help out lifting that load back up and mitigating that stress that it's putting on your axle and on your leaf springs and that's going to give you better drivability. You won't have as hard of a time trying to make turns. It's gonna kind of help with any swaying as well. And that's also ultimately gonna affect your brakes as well because if you're putting too much pressure back here, and you're putting it all on these tires, you're gonna be losing your breaking power up front and putting all of it on the back, which'll in turn, give you less breaking power. more

SuperSprings SuperSway Stops Installation - 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F-350 we're gonna be taking a look at the SuperSprings SuperSway Stops. What the SuperSway Stops does is, it lowers this little point to where we're gonna activate our overload springs a lot sooner. As you can see, it's definitely a lot bigger than the one that came on here from the factory, so this is just an easy way just to kind of keep your suspension all working together 'cause before I didn't really have a whole lot of weight on here and my overload springs weren't getting activated. Like it literally wasn't. So, this is just going to do a lot of different things for your ride quality. One, it's gonna help prevent purposing which what that is, whenever you're going down the road and you hit like a speed bump or something, it feels like you're in the back of a bus where you're kind of just sitting there like this and your truck takes a little bit of time to kind of correct. more

Stability Plus Stabilizer Helper Springs Installation - 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Today, on our 2021 Ford F250, we're gonna be taking a look at the Stability Plus Helper Springs. With the extra suspension components installed, we loaded up a big old water tank, it's about 1500 pounds, and we're gonna take it up on our test courses to see how it does. So, even after that first bump I could definitely feel my truck just being more responsive. It's a little bit tighter, that's why it doesn't just go down and comes back up and kinda rocks. I could definitely feel it. And I have many other loads that are over a lot heavier than this, so this is on the medium setting, so we can either tighten it up, loosen it up. more

So this add on component isn't going to require us to take any of the factory equipment off, so I really liked that. Buy a new truck, you want a little bit more help with the suspension, you don't really have to remove anything that's already there. That's kinda cool. So another thing that's nice about that, adding another component that's gonna take some of that load is just going to put less strain on your components. more

Hi there, Ford owners. Today, your 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 air helper springs. And this is what our airbags looks like when they're installed. Your airbag's going take the place of your jounce bumper. The jounce bumper used to sit between the frame and the axle of your vehicle, so when your suspension would come down, before it would bottom out and cause any metal to metal contact, that jounce bumper would take up that space. The jounce bumper really doesn't do much else beyond that, though. more

That way we can have a really good comparison on you know, how these Suspension Enhancements are actually going to improve our truck. So, first things first, we have our truck empty, no weight, factory suspension, and I'm gonna take a measurement that way, it'll give us a baseline on where our truck is sitting. So here at the back, we go from the ground to the very edge of our rear wheel, that's gonna be right at 43 inches. more
