Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop Review - 2013 Nissan Frontier- Video

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop Review - 2013 Nissan Frontier

Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushioned ball mount for 2 inch hitches, with a 3/4 inch rise, or a2 inch drop, rated at 10,000 pounds, part numberAMSC2. Before we begin our test fit, we'll first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is 17 1/4 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or after market accessories. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount, in the drop position, into the opening of the hitch, and securing it with the pin and clip. We can then measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting a measurement of about 15 inches. If your vehicle's hitch height matches ours, and you trailer's ride height matches this measurement, this would be an appropriate ball mount for you. We can now flip the ball mount over, into the rise position, and again, measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform. We'll get a measurement of about 17 1/2 inches. more
