Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2023 Honda CR-V- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Honda CR-V. Adding a hitch to your CR-V is a great way to really make the vehicle do whatever life throws at you, whether it be a bike rack, cargo carriers for vacation, or even a ball mount to move some trailers. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your CR-V. And it's a really nice look because it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see visible is gonna be the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Now that's gonna be really nice because that's pretty much the standard size that you see a lot of accessories come in, so you're gonna have plenty of options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts. But they're all gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Colorado- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Chevy Colorado and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'mma show you how to install this CURT class three two inch hitch receiver. This hitch is gonna be designed to replace the hitch support that will come factory on your Colorado. Typically the Colorado will come with that bar that's underneath here. You'll see the two safety chain loops sticking out and then there's, you're supposed to drill a hole in the top, slide a goose or a hitch ball down through there and then tighten up the nut. And then you have a hitch mounted on your step. more

Today we have a 2018 Buick Envision, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Etrailer Class Three Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Buick Envision is going to allow you to load up bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even pull a small trailer. And if you decide to pull a small trailer, you're definitely gonna wanna add at least 4-pole wiring, if not 7-pole. That'll safely get the lighting signals from the vehicle back to the trailer. And your Envision is going to be pre-wired, so it kind of makes sense just to do it, because it's gonna have everything in there, and you just have to plug in your 4-pole. more

It'll allow you to haul those cargo carriers or bike racks on the back to free up some of that space inside and put it outside on a rack. Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Subaru Outback and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back of your Outback, it's gonna allow you to have different accessories inserted into the hitch. That is bike racks, cargo carriers. There's not a whole lot of room on the inside to haul a bike anywhere, so putting a bike rack on the back will allow you to get several bikes, not just one, towing from the trailhead and hauling a cargo carrier on the back, it's gonna allow you to get some of those bulkier items out of the inside and onto the carrier so that you can fit more people inside for those longer trips. If you're wanting to tow a small trailer with this, it'd be great for the, those two inch ball mounts with the two inch shank that is. more

This is gonna be a two-inch by two-inch hitch receiver, which will help to accommodate a lot of different bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts. If you plan on towing a trailer, I highly recommend picking up a seven-pole harness or a four-pole harness. When you're installing this hitch, it's gonna be a lot easier to put this wiring in place because it's just one simple connection behind the bumper. If you do it afterwards, you can still get by with it, but it is a lot easier when the fascia's off. more

Now one of the things I do like about this hitch is it fits behind your factory fascia panel, so if you're not towing, you can put your panel back on, you'll just retain your stock looks on your Buick. Now with this being a Class One trailer hitch receiver, we're gonna have an inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube, which is gonna be nice to haul those bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a small ball mount that will fit inside of a inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube. We'll have a nice large safety chain loop that'll fit different safety chains of many different sizes. You can see there we've got both on there so it'll fit a lot bigger one. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2019 BMW X5- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 BMW X5. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on the BMW, and it's really nice that it's a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and that just means you're gonna have plenty of options when choosing bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts. Another pro of this hitch is it's a hidden cross tube, in fact, this one bolts up behind the impact bar, so the only thing that you're gonna see, is the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops. Now all of your accessories are going to stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, and this is not included with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included. But if you wanna pick up a locking version, we have plenty of those available here at Etrailer, which is really nice if you plan on leaving your accessories on the vehicle, you can lock it in place, and know that no one's gonna walk away with your accessories Rolled-style safety chain loop is nice and open, allowing us to put a standard S hook, or even a larger clevis style, when hooking up your trailer. And speaking of towing, this one's rated at some pretty serious numbers. more

And this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Sportage. And it's really nice because it's a hidden cross tube, meaning that the only thing that you're gonna see underneath the vehicle is gonna be the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. And this is a great size, it's a standard across the board. You're gonna have tons of options when it comes to accessories, whether it be for a bike rack, cargo carrier, or even a ball mount. And all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eights pin and clip. more

TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Ram 3500- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the TorkLift Super Hitch Magnum Class Five Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Ram 3500. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Ram, and this one is definitely a little bit different looking than a typical hitch. Overall, it's a little bit bigger, and that's because it is extremely heavy duty. But probably one of the first things that you notice is the dual hitch receiver design, and that's kind of for a few different reasons. So on the bottom, you have a two inch, and on top, you have a two and 1/2, which is really nice. So depending on if you already had a two and 1/2 inch ball mount, you can use that. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 GMC Acadia- Video

Well neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 GMC Acadia. Now this is what your hitch looks like when it's installed and technically it does have an exposed cross tube but the way that it sits on the vehicle, it keeps it nice and hidden and really the only thing that you're gonna see is gonna be the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and the safety chain loop plate. Now being two inch by two inch means that you're gonna have tons of different options when it comes to ball mounts or any accessory that you'll be loading in your hitch. And all of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch. A lot of times your accessories will come with that. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class III Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Now, there's many reasons why you would want to install a hitch receiver on the back of your Jeep Gladiator. The Jeep Gladiator does have a bed, so you have more than enough space to be able to put items like camping gear, if you have sporting equipment, stuff like that. But there are those odd trips that you need to go on where you want to take either a bike rack to carry some bikes, a cargo carrier to hold that bulky cooler that you don't want taking up space in the bed of your truck, or to even tow a small trailer. That is what the hitch receiver is designed to do. more

Hi, John with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at etrailer's Class III receiver hitch that we installed on our 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. Now taking a closer look at the etrailer hitch, we're gonna have a matte black powder coated finish on this hitch, and one important thing to note is that when you're not using the hitch, this does fit behind the factory hitch cover here. So that's kind of nice to have that retained factory look when you're not using it. Now this is gonna be the hitch by itself when you purchase it. If you're gonna do towing or anything, you're gonna need a pin and clip. more

This is Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Hitch that we installed on our 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. Now if we take a close look at the hitch, you're gonna see that this has a gloss black power coat finish on here from Draw-Tite and this is a hidden cross tube style. The only part of the receiver that you're gonna see is just the receiver tube opening right here. The rest of it's tucked up underneath, behind the bumper. more

Now there's gonna be a few great reasons to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Genesis. If you want to tow a small trailer, you can put a ball mount in there. If you wanna haul some bikes to and from the trails, that's what the owner of this vehicle plans on doing.
