Now, this is gonna be on our tire size 255/50-R20 on our front axle. And let me just put out there, this is very limited clearance. As per the manual recommends, it doesn't actually recommend any tire chains, but if you live in a state that requires tire chains, you're gonna need something. And this is a Class S chain, so it's gonna be very close to your tire. more

On our front axle, since that's what's recommended per the manual, but if your manual says something else, I'd go with that, and that's gonna be on our 245/60R18 tires. Since these are gonna be some larger chains, they're gonna sit very close to our wheel well, so if I put my hand back here, the space between the links and our suspension, it's only gonna be at finger width apart, so that's gonna sit very close, so if this loosens up any when you're driving, that can make contact. But if that's not a worry for you, then we can talk about the specs. I'd recommend these chains to anyone who needs to go through any deeper snow, but you wanna do it with a smooth ride. more

We're gonna have them on our 235 65 R18 tires and it's gonna be situated on our front axle as per the owner's guide. Always make sure you check yours as well. One thing I would like to note is that the Highlander does have a lot of limited wheel well clearance, but I think these chains can be very nice if you do find yourself in areas with a lot of snow and maybe ice. In the manual it doesn't say it needs to have S class chains and honestly these are probably gonna be one of your better options if you do have a lot of snow in the area, you need something with a little bit more bite than your smaller chains. more

And per the owner's manual we're gonna have 'em on the front axle. Now I'd always recommend checking what your owner's manual says as well. These chains are gonna be a good fit for the Highlander because they're a lot more low profile than a lot of the other chains we've done today since they are a twist links and they're a little bit lower profile, which means with our Highlander that has its limited wheel well clearance, we're still gonna have a decent amount of space back here. Taking a closer look at our twist links you can kind of see how they twist into one another and that's just gonna help you get more bite into the snow and some ice. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out these Glacier Cable Tire Chains on this 2023 Nissan TITAN. These are gonna be ladder pattern-style chains, so that means it's gonna go across the tire with rollers on there so you have a smoother ride. So that also means it's not gonna dig in any ice very well, but it's gonna be really good for starts and stops in the snow. Even heavy snow, you can get through that and get you some grip when you're driving. The chains are gonna be made out of a low-carbon steel so we're gonna be good for probably one season of regular use in the snow but really good for if you just need them by law, wherever you live, you have to keep them with you at all times. more

Now today we are operating on the tire size 275/55r20. Also, make sure you look into your owner's manual to see which axle you want to be installing your tire chains on. Our Wagoneer here today does make us install our tire chains on our rear axle. If you take a closer look at our tire chains, you can see that they do have this diamond pattern design, which is just going to help us with a lot of side to side control unlike something compared to like a ladder pattern for tire chains. more

Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig XG-12 Pro Self-Tensioning Tire Chains on our 2022 Mazda CX-9 using tire size P255/50R20. Now, reading over the Mazda owner manual before we we're looking into these tire chains, we did discover that there are two different tire sizes offered for the CX-9. Now, the owner's manual only recommend the tire chains to be used on our other size, so if you do live in an area of high snow and ice, we would recommend maybe looking into swapping out your tires. However, we did discover that the tire chains do fit on this tire size here today, but either way, the owner's manual does instruct us to use them on our front axle. Taking a little bit closer look at our chain, we can see that our links are going to be made out of the manganese nickel alloy, it means that they're just going to be very corrosion resistant and be able to stand up to multiple years of uses across those weather conditions. more

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Konig XB-16 assisted tension tire chains on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Just a quick disclaimer, we did look into the Mazda owner's manual when determining tire chains for our tires here today and we found that the tire size 255/50 R20 is actually not recommended for tire chains in the Mazda owner's manual, the other tire size available is so if you live in a area with high snow and ice, it is recommended possibly for you to change over your tires but we have found that if you just need tire chains in sense of emergency that these are going to fit just fine. Either way, regardless of your tire size, we are going to install them on our front axle. Taking a closer look into our chains we can see that they are made up of these square links here which are just going to be a bit more aggressive and help break up that snow and ice a lot easier. The chain overall does make a diamond pattern around our wheel, which just helps us with that side to side motion when driving not really increasing or decreasing any of our starting or stopping power. more

Now, it's important to check your tire size information, and put that information into the fit guide on our website to find the right pair for you. Although these specific chains will fit a range of tire sizes, if your F-150 has a different tire size, this isn't a guaranteed fit. more
