So, you have a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta, and you need to get a bike rack, a cargo carrier, maybe even a small trailer, to wherever you need to go. You wanna add some utility to your sedan. Now, there's a few different ways to do that, but really, the tried and true, and I think, safest method, is putting a trailer hitch receiver on a vehicle. Now, I know that sometimes it doesn't seem appealing to put something like that on a Jetta, but, you do have options. As you can see here, a nonvisible cross tube. Hello neighbors it's Brad here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at the EcoHitch Hidden Trailr Hitch Receiver on a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. So this hitch receiver for the Jetta is a two inch by two inch. Now, on some of the other hitches for this vehicle, they aren't the standard two inch size, they're one and a quarter, which kind of limits you a little bit to what your accessories you can put on here. Today on our 2016 Jeda Sedan, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install the curt-custom fist class 1 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the inch and a quarter by an inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is C11072. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. As you can see we've got our cross tube. It's going to be mostly across the rear of the vehicle. That's going to come in to the center section here with our receiver tube opening. more
