Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. There is two big reasons why I really liked this hitch. The first one being the way it's going to look for the most part, it's going to be completely hidden. The only thing you're going to be able to see is this receiver tube opening, but it's still going to be really easy to get to. And in my opinion, it's almost going to look factory on the back of your Golf SportWagen. more

Speaker 1: Today on a 2015 Volkswagen Golf sport wagon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Drawtite class one sportframe trailer hitch receiver, part number 24949.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, the cross tube is completely hidden behind the bumper fascia 00:00:18. The receiver tube is nice and flush with the edge of the bumper fascia itself, so you're not gonna have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle. Best 2015 Volkswagen SportWagen Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for your 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen. When looking for hitches for your vehicle, these are the top Class 1 hitches you'll find. At the top we're going to have our Curt, part number C11422. Down here we'll have the Draw-Tite, part number 24949. With these hitches, they'll actually mount up behind the bumper, so they're going to be both pretty well hidden. There are a few differences. With the Curt, you're going to see it has this wider frame here, while the Draw-Tite is a little bit more square. Also with the Curt, we have this reinforced edge here at the end of our hitch, while the Draw-Tite has just the squared off hitch. With the Draw-Tite safety chain loops here, you're going to see that they're a little bit wider than the Curt safety chain loops, which may make it easier to hook those up. more
