Today on our 2008 Toyota Prius, we will be installing the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, part number 60894. Here's what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Next, I'll give you some measurements that will help you pick out accessories like cargo carriers and bike racks. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper is 2-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11-1/2 inches. Now, we'll show you how to install it. To start our hitch installation, we need to remove the plastic panel on the driver side of the vehicle. There is four connection points for this panel. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Toyota Prius - Curt- Video
Today, on our 2008 Toyota Prius, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C11468. This is what our hitch will look like, once installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. In the center of the hitch pin hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper is 2 3/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 9 3/4 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. To begin our install, we'll need to remove the under body panel on the driver's side, by removing the push pin fasteners and screws. more
