Today on this 2003 Toyota Highlander were going to install part number C13429 from Curt. Now this is what the hitch looks like when its installed on a vehicle. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be 15 and three-quarter inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be five and a half inches. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Toyota Highlander - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2003 Toyota Highlander, well be installing Hidden Hitch, part number 70777. Now, to begin our installation, well remove the two tied on brackets on the bottom of the frame at the back on the vehicle. There's one on the left side, as well as one on the right. Well also need to remove the two small rubber caps that cover the well nuts in the frame. Now, well put those aside, as they will not be reinstalled on the vehicle. We're now ready to install our hitch. more
