Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Toyota Camry - Curt

Today, on our 2016 Toyota Camry, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class II custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number C12107. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper, and you're going to see the nice, round cross tube sitting right below there. This is a Class II hitch, so it's going to give you the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. As you can see, it has a nice reinforced collar giving it that nice, clean look. This is going to use a standard 1/2" pin and clip, which are included in the kit, which is nice because you're not going to have anything extra to buy. There are safety chain connections here. more

Best 2016 Toyota Camry Hitch Options

Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry, we'll be looking at the most popular hitch options. On the top, we have a Draw-Tite Class II, part number 36540, and on the bottom we also have a Curt Class II, part number C12107. Both these hitches share the same basic construction. The main difference is the Draw-Tite on the top here is a square-bodied framed, whereas the Curt the on the bottom here's got a round tubular construction. They both have a durable black power coat finish. The Curt is slightly more glossy than the Draw-Tite. They both attach using about the same mounting methods. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry we'll be installing a Draw-Tite Class 2 Frame Receiver Hitch, part number 36540. Here's what our hitch looks like once it's installed on the back of our 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The top of our frame here you can see there's a very minimal gap between the bottom of the bumper here. We don't have to see a lot of day light coming through. It's a nice clean look. It's tucked up there very nicely, it's not hanging down an excessive amount. more
