Best 2012 Subaru Impreza Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for our 2012 Subaru Impreza. Now when searching for hitches for your vehicle, these are going to be the two top choices you're going to find. Here we have our CURT Class 1, part number C11408. Then we have our Draw-Tite Class 1, part number 24888. Both of these hitches have their advantages, but let's go ahead and go over some of their differences. Now while these do both have plates for added durability, the Draw-Tites are actually going to be separate from the safety chain loops, which makes it a little bit easier to attach them to be able to get in from any angle, while you notice with the CURT, they're a little bit thicker, so that might be a little bit of a problem. Now another difference between these two hitches, the fact that they do install slightly differently. While the CURT only requires two attachment points, while the Draw-Tite's going to have three, and it also requires drilling. more

Best 2012 Suabru Impreza Hitch Options- Video
Today in our 2012 Subaru Impreza we'll be looking at our best hitch options. I want to point out the two hitches that we're looking at here today are for the Impreza Hatchback models. If you have a sedan it uses different hitches as well as the WRX and STI models. They have different hitches as well. The two hitches that we have here today, on the top we have a Curt Class 1, part number C11286. On the bottom Draw-tite Class One part number 24886. You may notice that the Curt has an angle construction going up like this. Now our Draw-tite hitch only has that similar construction on the right side of the hitch, which would be on the passenger side of your vehicle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Subaru Impreza - Curt- Video
Today in our 2012 Subaru Impreza, we'll be installing Curt hitch Part # C11286. Here are a few measurements to help you when selecting accessories. From the top of the receiver to the ground is 9 and 3 quarter inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper is 2 inches. Now lets go ahead with our installation. To begin our installation, we'll need to identify and remove the four plugs in the frame rails. We'll then discard them as we will not be reinstalling them. more
