Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2006 Nissan Frontier. Up top here we're going to have our Draw-Tite Class 3 hitch. Then right below that we're going to have our etrailer Class 3 hitch. Then finally, below that we're going to have our CURT Class 3 hitch.If I was looking for a hitch for my Frontier, I would probably go with the Draw-Tite for a few different reasons. It is going to have an increased tongue weight, which is going to be nice for a few different accessories we might want, or just to have your trailer, as well as some minor differences that it'll have over the two etrailer and the CURT. Let's take a closer look at all the differences between them.Our Draw-Tite is going to have the highest tongue weight at 750 pounds, and a gross trailer weight rating of 5,000 pounds. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Nissan Frontier - Curt- Video
Today on our 2006 Nissan Frontier, we'll be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver in a Class 3 with a 2" opening in the receiver, part number 13241. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is approximately 3 1/4". From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 18 1/2". Now, let's go ahead and install our hitch. First we'll go ahead and point out the mounting locations that we'll be using to secure our hitch to the vehicle. Before we can attach the hitch, we will need to clean out the existing weld nuts. more

Today on our 2006 Nissan Frontier, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite, Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, in a class 3 with a 2 inch opening on the receiver. Part number 75282. Here's what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as, a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin whole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 3.5 inches. From the top of the opening and the receiver to the ground is approximately 16.25 inches. Now let's go ahead and point out our mounting locations we'll be using to install our hitch. There's a total of three on each side, in each location is an existing weld nut. Before we can put our hitch up though, we're going to need to clean out each of the existing weld nuts. To do this we use a little spray lubricant and a half-inch nylon tooth brush. more
