Best 2017 Mazda CX-9 Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options on a 2017 Mazda CX-9. Now we're gonna be looking at three of the best options in my personal opinion. Our neighbor today has an inch and a quarter installed on their CX-9, and that's because they already have a bike rack that is an inch and a quarter configuration. But unless you're in that situation, I would highly suggest looking at the two-inch, not only do you get more applications as far as accessories, but also you get more weight capacity. Now the three that we have here today are going to be the Curt, the etrailer, and then the Draw-Tite. And they all look very, very similar, but there are a few little differences that we're gonna take a look at. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Mazda CX-9 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2017 Mazda CX9, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class 3 custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 76020. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. The cross tube is going to tuck up behind the bumper nicely and all we're really going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. It is a class 3 hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and it has a nice reinforced collar giving it added strength and a nice clean finished look. On the side of our receiver tube, we're going to have two holes. The one towards the front of our vehicle it's going to be for a standard 5/8 pin and clip. They're not included but you can pick one up on our website. Now the rear hole here, that's going to be for the J pin stabilization device. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Mazda CX-9- Video
Today on our 2017 Mazda CX9, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3 Custom-Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13284. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It is going to tuck up nicely behind the bumper, and all we're really going to see is the receiver tube sticking out, so it's not going to distract from the way that our car looks. It is a class 3 hitch, which means it's going to give use that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, and as you can see, it has a nice reinforced collar, giving it added strength and that nice clean finished look. Our hitch is going to use a standard 5/8" pin and clip. They're not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. As far as the safety chain loops are concerned, it's going to be a plate style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube here. more
