This is what our hitch is going to look like when its installed. You can see the cross tube is completely hidden behind the fascia. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Mazda CX-5- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver here on our 2014 Mazda CX-5. So, this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our CX-5 here. It has a hidden design, meaning the cross tube is tucked way back behind the bumper here. And the rest of the components we can see are gonna have a nice black glossy powder coated finish that's gonna help it blend in well, and also help protect it from rust and corrosion. So adding a trailer hitch to your CX-5 here, it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use the trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit some trails, or free up some space inside the vehicle for the family on those long road trips, we can easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Mazda CX-5- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver here on our 2014 Mazda CX-5. So, this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed here on our Mazda. Most of it is actually hidden behind the bumper here, so this has a concealed cross tube, therefore, it's gonna provide us with the best overall appearance. And what we can see, the receiver tube has a nice black powder coated finish that not only helps it blend in with the underbody paneling on the vehicle here, it also helps protect the hitch from rust and corrosion over time. So adding a trailer hitch here to your CX-5, it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now, obviously, we can use the trailer hitch for towing, but some other things you may not already be aware of, if we wanted to free up some space inside the vehicle for our family on those long road trips, or if we just wanted to hit the trails, we could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or hitch mounted cargo carrier. more

Best 2014 Mazda CX-5 Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2014 Mazda CX5 we'll be looking at the most popular hitch options available. We have a class three CURT 2" receiver, part number C13127. We have a class two 1-1/4" receiver, part number C12080. We have a class two Draw-Tite 1-1/4" receiver, part number 36602. Finally, a class three Draw-Tite 2" receiver, part number 75217. I'd like to point out here, all of our four hitches here, they all install using the exact same mounting points. No drilling is required. more

Today, on our 2014 Mazda CX5, we are going to take a look at and show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is a custom fit Class III hitch. Its part number is 75217. Here is what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, you are not cosmetically adding a lot. Our cross tube is completely hidden behind that rear fascia. All we are going to have here is our receiver tube opening and our safety chain connection point. more

Today on this 2014 Mazda CX-5, we're going to install part number 87623. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 13 inches. And from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 4 inches. Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is go ahead and loosen up the exhaust system. more
