But before we do that, why don't we check this out and make sure it's the right hitch for you. With the QX70 being a relatively capable SUV, a lot of people want to do a lot of different things with it, whether it's pulling a trailer around or using accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. So putting a trailer hitch back here is going to open up your opportunities and allow you to do those types of things. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Infiniti QX70- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Infiniti QX70, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13554. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed on our Infiniti. The cross tube is going to be visible. It's going to sit below the bumper, just right below the exhaust, but the main thing that's going to be sticking out of the back is going to be that 2" receiver tube opening. Since it is a Class III, it's going to have a really wide variety of accessories that are going to be available, all the way from bike rack, cargo carriers, or even ball mounts.Now, the way we're going to mount any of those accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. more
