Trailer Hitch Installation - 1997 GMC Savana- Video
Today on this 1997 GMC Savana, were gonna install part number 14090 from Curt.This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next, well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outside edge of the bumper is going to be 4 inches and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 13 inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed.First thing were gonna do is show you where the hitch mounts up in the frame. Were gonna use these existing holes here, here and here.
