Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look, and install a Curt Class 3 trailer hitch, on a 2009 GMC Acadia. So, here we have the hitch installed. And, normally on the Acadia, you have this plastic facia. And, as you can see with this trailer hitch, it doesn't actually go back on, but it still looks really great. And part of that is it's nice steel construction is black powder coat finished, to give it a nice OEM look. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 GMC Acadia - Curt

Today on this 2009 GMC Acadia, we're going to install part number 13424 from Curt. This is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Hitch, Class 3. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on the Acadia. Next, we'll give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 19" and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper will be about 5". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
