Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2019 Ford Transit T-350. And today we have four different hitches that we're taking a look at, and that way you can help decipher which one is gonna be best for your application. So our top one here, we have our etrailer. Next we have our Draw-Tite, then we have a CURT, and we also have one more CURT that's gonna be a Class Four. Starting with our Class Threes, these are all gonna be very similar. They're gonna install exactly the same and really, they do look at identical. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Transit T350- Video
Today we have a 2019 Ford Transit T-350 and we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt 2-inch Class 3 Hitch Receiver. A 2-inch Hit Receiver is very useful. If you're one that is using it for towing I would definitely recommend looking at some of our wiring kits for four pole or seven pole just to get the electric back to your trailer. So all your lights and functions work. Also with you sports and rec people out there with this you have a lot of passengers inside so it'd be nice to get some more cargo space out here because the roof is kind of tall. Roof rack is gonna be a little bit more difficult to do but you can use that for that. more

Your Ford Transit can do a lot of different things, it can haul a lot of people if you are using it for recreational use. So you can use it for a bike rack or anything like that. With it being able to carry a lot of people, they're gonna have a lot of stuff. So this is also gonna be great for your cargo carriers to get a lot of that cargo out of the inside of the Transit and onto the outside on that carrier. Something to think about, if you are gonna use this for towing you need to put your vehicle in the fit guide on our website to grab a wiring kit for either a four pole or a seven pole. That's gonna just deliver the power to your trailer so all your lights and functions work. If you are hauling some heavier type of trailers that have electric brakes also take a look at some of the brake controllers we have for your Ford Transit. 'Cause that's going to save your brakes of your Transit and utilize the brakes on your trailer to slow you down. If you're planning on using this hitch receiver for more recreational stuff like a cargo carrier or a bike rack this is gonna be a great option because it is a Class III. more

The two inch hitch receiver can be used for a lot of different things. You can use it for towing. And if you are going to be towing with this two inch hitch receiver, I do recommend checking out our website for some trailer wiring whether it's four pole or your seven pole that's just going to deliver the power from your vehicle to your trailer.
