Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Escape- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 Ford Escape. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it is a hidden cross tube. So really the only thing that you're gonna see on the exterior of the vehicle is gonna be the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops as the rest of it does hide behind the fascia. So you get a nice clean look and all the usability of your hitch. And this one being a 2 inch by 2 inch means that you have tons of options for ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers as this is kind of the standard size that you see on many hitches. And all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Today on our 2019 Ford escape, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver in comparison to some of the other hitches. This one is going to be visible. However, it is going to contour nicely and sit a little further back and blend in really well to the back of our escape. Now, the upside to that visibility is that everything is going to be in the open and really easy to use. So a nice touch that I really like about this hitch, especially if you're going to be using it to do some towing, is the oversized safety chain loops. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 Ford escape. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to have a really clean, almost factory appearance, and that's because our crosstube's going to be completely hidden behind the bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out, and the matte black finish line does lend it to blending in pretty well at the bottom. It's not those high gloss finishes that you typically see on hitches. The flat black's going to hide dirt really well and hide scratches really nicely. But it is a class three so it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have the widest variety of options when it comes to accessories that we can mount out.But whether you're going to use your hitch for a ball mount to tow a trailer, put a bike rack in there so we can hit the trail, or if we just need a cargo carrier, free up some space on the inside, all of our accessories are going to mount to the hitch pin hole here on the side. more
