Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be checking out some of our best trailer hitch options for your 2017 Ford Escape. We have three different trailer hitches here today. This one is the Draw-Tite, this one's made by etrailer, and this one here is made by Curt. And if you we inchesre to ask me what one I would choose, you really can't go wrong with any of 'em, to be honest. But I think one of the big things that will kind of help justify what one will be best for you is just the particular situation that you're gonna be in and how you plan on using the hitch. more

Speaker 1: Today ln our 2017 Ford Escape, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the etrailer custom-fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver, part number is E98866. Here's what the hitch is going to look like installed on your Escape. As you can see, that cross tube remains mainly hidden. I think it's a really nice-looking hitch and not changing the cosmetics of the vehicle all the much. It's a class 3 hitch, so that means it has the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. That makes it very, very versatile. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ford Escape - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2017 Ford Escape, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw Tite Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75782. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below our bumper and all we're really going to see is the main receiver tube right here. Now this is a Class 3, so it's going to give you that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and it does have a reinforced collar, giving it that nice, clean finished look. As far as the safety chain loops, it's like a rolled steel stock style, and they're going to be welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. Now, as you can see, we're not going to have any issues with most sized hooks, getting them on or off. We don't have to worry about interfering with anything. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ford Escape - Curt- Video
Today on our 2017 Ford Escape, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Class 2 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12111. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to be a class two, so we're going to have that inch and a quarter, by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. It's going to be tucked up just right underneath our bumper. It has a reinforced receiver tube collar which is going to give it added strength, but also giving it a nice finished look. You have the safety chain loops, they're going to be a rolled steel stock style. There's loops welded underneath our receiver tube. more

Today on our 2017 Ford Escape we're going to be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the 2 inch by 2 inch opening. It's part number is C13186. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, this one remains very hidden behind the fascia. I like this style of hitch that's available for the Escape rather than the other style. more

This offers the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" opening. Its part number is 36524. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You can see our rounded crosstube is going to come all the way across the rear here. This is designed to drop down underneath our exhaust and then go up to our mounting locations on the side. more

Its part number is 75758. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. You'll see the roundtube's going to come over and drop down under the exhaust. It runs up into the side plates where it's going to connect to our frame. more
