This one is the Draw-Tite, this one's made by etrailer, and this one here is made by Curt. And if you we inchesre to ask me what one I would choose, you really can't go wrong with any of them to be honest. But I think one of the big things that will kind of help justify what one will be best for you is just the particular situation that you're gonna be in and how you plan on using the hitch. more

Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Ford Escape- Video
Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com Today I have a 2013 Ford Escape. I'm gonna walk you through how to install the Draw-Tite Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, You can see our cross tube is completely hidden behind our fascia. The only thing you can really see is our receiver tube, so it really maintains a nice clean look. Now, my opinion on the class 2 hitches, they're gonna be great for your cargo carrier and your bike racks, maybe a very small trailer. But if it was me, I'd be putting a class 3 hitch on here. more

So there is a couple of things I really like about this hitch, the first thing being the appearance of it. In my opinion, I think it's going to look pretty good. It's almost completely hidden. The only thing you're really going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening. more

Today on our 2013 Ford Escape, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers the 2" by 2" opening. It's part number is C13186. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. As you can see, we've got a nice clean look. We're not adding a lot to the rear here. Our cross tube almost completely hidden as it runs across the rear. more
