Best 2018 Chevrolet Trax Trailer Hitch Options

Today we're going to be taking a look at the going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2018 Chevrolet Trax. Up top here we're going to have the Class 2 Draw-Tite, and then right below that we're going to have the Class 1 CURT. If appearance is a big concern of yours, I would go with the CURT because it is going to sit in a little bit further and be less noticeable. If clearance is a big concern of yours, I would go with the Draw-Tite because it is going to provide us better ground clearance and have an easier time putting those folding accessories in. If weight is a big concern of yours, I would go with the Draw-Tite because it is going to be a Class 2 and have a higher tongue weight and gross trailer weight rating. Finally, if install is a big concern of yours, both of these hitches are going to install relatively the same using all the factory mounting locations. Now if it was me looking for a hitch for my Trax, I would go with the Draw-Tite because it is going to be a Class 2 and have a little bit higher weight ratings and have a little bit better clearance. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Trax - Draw-Tite

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Trax, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class II Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part Number 36554.Here's what our hitch is going look like once we have it installed. It is a Class II hitch, which means it's going to be great for that light duty towing, or adding a bike rack, or a cargo carrier to the back of our Trax. It's going to offer us an inch and a quarter by an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. The way we're going to mount any of those accessories is going to be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. Now, it's going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. Now, these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com using Part Number PC2. more
