Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our best trailer hitch options for your 2012 Chevy Traverse. Today we're gonna be looking at three different trailer hitches. Right here we have the Draw-Tite, right here we have the Curt, and this one is the etrailer hitch and right away, you know, if it we're me and I had to pick one for my own Traverse all of 'em are gonna work fine. And you know, they're gonna be, you know, all get the job done and be more than sufficient but I would probably lean towards the Draw-Tite for my own vehicle. And I usually don't say that all too often in regards to the Draw-Tite but I do think this one has kind of a slight advantage over the other ones. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the etrailer.com Class 3 two inch Trailer Hitch Receiver.So one of my favorite things about this hitch is that it's going to be completely hidden whenever you're not using it, so you're really going to be able to maintain that factory look back here. But whenever you are ready to use it, it's going to be super easy. This little center panel here is going to pop off. So you just rotate the knob on each side, it just pops down. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Traverse - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2012 Chevy Traverse, were going to be installing the Draw-Tite hitch part number 75528. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 7 inches, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 18 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Now lets go ahead with the installation. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Traverse we're gonna install the Curt Hitch, part number 13424. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most point of the bumper is 6-3/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now let's go ahead with the installation. more
