Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class V Commercial Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver.This is going to be a great hitch to haul those very heavy loads without needing or using a gooseneck or fifth wheel to do so. As you can see, pretty much our whole entire hitch is visible. This hitch isn't built for style. It's built to get the job done. Now, this is a Class V hitch, and it's going to have a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver tube opening. more

Today, on this 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, were going to install part number C15322 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like on our Silverado. Next, well give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack, a cargo carrier or a ball mount. Now from top of the receiver opening down to the ground, will be about 19 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper, will be about 2-3/4 inches. Now, well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed on the truck. more

Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we will be installing Hidden Hitch, part number 87186. This is what our hitch will look like once its been installed. Next we will give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch, from the center of the hitch from the hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper is 3, from the top of the receiver to the ground is 20-1/2, this will assist you in selecting your accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now lets go ahead with the installation. Note, weve already gone ahead and lowered and removed the spare tire for the ease installation of the new hitch. Next we will go ahead and point out the attachment points, we will have a total of six attachment points three in each frame rail, and this will be our forward, center, and rear attachment point. more
